For nearly 40 years, WrestleMania has been the most significant annual event in sports entertainment. From its humble start in Madison Square Garden in 1985 to the larger-than-life spectacle that has taken over state-of-the-art stadiums for more than a decade, WrestleMania is the defining event on the WWE calendar. Fans travel from all parts of the globe to witness history – and 2023 will be no different.

How to Watch

Watch Monday Night RAW every Monday evening at 8/7c on USA Network. Stream more exciting WWE series on Peacock.

On April 1 and 2, the 39th edition of WrestleMania takes shape. Naturally, the WWE Universe is salivating over the matches already announced.

The Road to WrestleMania has been twisting and winding for the past few months. However, all roads lead to one specific venue in southern California.

Where Is WrestleMania 2023 Taking Place?

So-Fi Stadium in Los Angeles, California, will host WrestleMania 2023, marking the first time the venue has played home to a WWE event.

Opened in 2020, So-Fi Stadium is the home of the NFL’s Los Angeles Rams and the Los Angeles Chargers. In fact, the stadium went down in history in 2022 as the first time an NFL team won the Super Bowl on the same field they played their regular season home games on. The ultra-modern venue cost more than $5.5 billion and took nearly four years to complete. At WrestleMania, the WWE Universe will be in for a treat as the stadium itself has been lauded as arguably the most technologically advanced and fan-friendly venue in the world.

WWE didn’t waste any time announcing that So-Fi Stadium would be the venue for WrestleMania 2023. They revealed their plans as early as February 2020.

After warming up with WrestleMania on April 1 and 2, major sporting events will occur at So-Fi Stadium, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Summer Olympics.

Has WrestleMania Been Held in Los Angeles Before?

WrestleMania 2023 will mark the second time WWE has brought the Show of Shows to Los Angeles. In 2005, the Staples Center hosted the 21st edition of WrestleMania. The event was regarded as a critical success for WWE and featured Superstars like John Cena and Dave Bautista capturing their first-ever world championships in thrilling matches. Less than 20 years later, both men still enjoy success in Hollywood – just in a different arena. Dave Bautista especially has been turning heads with his recent movie roles.

In a nod to its LA-WrestleMania roots, WWE recently released promotional parody videos of famous movies featuring their Superstars. However, this isn’t the first time the WWE Universe has witnessed WWE Superstars out of their element. Similar videos were produced nearly 20 years ago. Suppose you enjoyed our coverage of the Miz’s “Top Gun” parody, you’ll get a kick out of what was produced to promote WrestleMania in 2005:

How Can I Buy Tickets to WrestleMania 2023?

Luckily, tickets to both days of WrestleMania 2023 are still available through Ticketmaster.

WWE made headlines in January when it was announced that WrestleMania already broke So-Fi Stadium’s all-time gate record via early ticket sales happening months before the event was scheduled to take place. However, fans who don’t want to miss out on this historical show still have an opportunity to purchase single-day and two-day tickets – although, with the event only a few weeks away, seats are becoming extremely limited.

How Can I Watch WrestleMania 2023?

The best way to watch WrestleMania 2023 is live on Peacock! In fact, the best way to watch all of WWE’s Premium Live Events is through Peacock, available for just $4.99 per month.

Whether you’re planning to attend WrestleMania 2023 in person or already making arrangements to watch it from your couch, we can promise you one thing:
