See Braun Strowman’s Emotional Message to Fans of Everything on The Menu
WWE Champion Braun Strowman got honest about the challenges he faced before the breakout success of his USA Network travel show Everything on the Menu.
Thousands have been tuning into Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman to watch the WWE legend attack food just like he did his opponents in the ring. Now, in a heartfelt new video about his USA Network travel series, the six-foot-five former wrestler is showing his softer side.
On Nov. 11, the official Instagram account for Strowman, whose real name is Adam Scherr, was flooded with an outpouring of love and congratulations after the “Monster Among Men” shared a personal message about the show’s runaway success.
The post even showed Strowman breaking down in tears of joy.
Braun Strowman talked about his career crossroads
“Holy cow, Everything on the Menu drew its highest rating last week, drawing over 580,000 eyes. It picked up 146,000 viewers from the week before,” he said as his eyes welled up. Quickly after its Oct. 24 debut, the travel series became the second-most-popular show on USA Network, according to USTVDB, behind only WWE SmackDown in ratings.
“I’m trying not to be emotional. This hasn’t been easy losing my job, my career, and stuff like that, and wondering where and how I was going to figure it out and what was going to happen next in life,” he added. “I’m humbly blessed by how amazing the response has been for this show.”
Why Braun Strowman took a break from wrestling
Strowman recently told Going Ringside he hasn’t walked away from wrestling for good but is taking an extended break to let his body recover from the wear and tear of the ring. After his release from the WWE in May 2025, he hasn’t competed in a single match.
In an Oct. 21 interview with TMZSports, Browman spoke candidly about suffering a serious neck injury in 2023 during a match with Otis that changed everything and sidelined him from performing as his optimal self.
“I had that really bad neck injury in the ring where I pinched my spine and both my arms went limp, and I was paralyzed for about three seconds during the match,” he told the outlet, “You watch that match with Otis, you can see it happen.”
The symptoms persisted even after he regained control of his body. “I go to take off. I’m really weeble wobbling,” he recounted. “I give the rest of the match. And while I’m out there in the ring and in the back, it feels like I’m having boiling water poured down my arms, or my fingers would go numb and go to sleep.”

But every cloud has a silver lining. His time off to recover ultimately led to the creation of Everything on the Menu.
Strowman’s purpose for his post, aside from celebrating EOTM’s success, was to let his fans know that things are looking way, way up. Now that he’s found his groove—crushing everything from hot dogs to haute cuisine at restaurants around the country—he isn’t slowing down. In the comments section of his post, he hinted at world domination, saying “hopefully, we will be getting global soon."
Fans can catch Braun in Milwaukee next, when the episode “Brew City Beatdown,” airs on Friday, Nov. 21 at 10/9c on USA Network, following WWE SmackDown.
