Catch Everything on the Menu with Braun Strowman on Fridays at 10 p.m.
Braun Strowman is serving up some the behind-the-scenes secrets from his new hit travel series, Everything on the Menu.
In an exclusive interview with USA Insider, the WWE icon answered our most burning questions, including how he avoids food hangovers and maintains that epic beard.
In the ring, the retired wrestler was known for his famous battle cry, “I’m not finished with you!” and he’s just as insatiable when it comes to food. In the eight-episode series, airing Fridays at 10 p.m. on USA Network, he takes his mission seriously: to “pig out” at sixteen restaurants across the U.S.
Keep reading to learn a few of the tricks he has up his sleeve when annihilating a menu.
How does Braun eat so much?
First and foremost, we wanted to know his game plan for eating. If anyone needs a good solution for getting back to baseline, it’s Braun.
“I like to think this is the ultimate cheat meal show,” he exclusively told USA Insider, revealing that filming sometimes followed WWE SmackDown the night before, helping him to work up a hearty appetite. “So, I just wouldn't eat and I would fast into the morning, do half an hour to an hour of cardio, and then eat at both restaurants on the same day.”

While he’s triumphed over many challengers in the ring, the menu powerslams didn’t always come easily. “Some of the restaurants were a little bit of a struggle, and I was nowhere capable of eating everything,” the six-foot-five Monster Among Men admitted. “But I made sure to eat some of every dish. Other restaurants, I blew right through their menu without a problem.”
How does he maintain that epic beard?
Nothing will ever come between Braun and his “glorious patch of fur”—he hasn’t shaved with a razor since 2011. “It’s a family trait,” he revealed, along with his supervillain-esque “crazy eyebrows.”
“My mother's never seen my father's face,” he noted. “He's had a full beard since he was 18. I haven't touched my face other than edging it up. I wish some more of it grew on top of my head.”
All kidding aside, when it comes to beard etiquette and eating, Braun’s takes an old-school approach: “A lot of napkins are used, for sure.”

He also shed some light on the EOTM restaurant picks, confirming he wants viewers to “step outside of their comfort zone.” Each episode is a study in contrasts, featuring one nostalgic landmark and one new hotspot, and Braun chats with chefs and customers, taking a “more blue-collar approach” to the genre.

“I love all the food shows with the amazing chefs around the world,” he told USA, “but sometimes I'm listening to them and I have no earthly clue what they're talking about.”
But if there’s one thing everyone can relate to, Braun said it’s the unfettered joy of eating a good meal.
“It is the most primal thing I can think of because there's not a soul on this earth who hasn't taken a bite of something amazing in their life, and it makes you close your eyes and just go…” he said, letting out a WWE-worthy grunt. “I think it's just pure raw emotion.”
