WWE Evolution 2025: How to Watch and What to Expect
The women of WWE take center stage in this historic Evolution 2025.
It's been nearly seven years since WWE presented the first-ever Evolution Premium Live Event, an evening of competition that pushed women's wrestling into the forefront of everyone's mind.
In just a few days, the second iteration of the iconic PLE will occur, and the women of the WWE locker room are all ready to steal the show!
What is WWE Evolution?
For one night only, the men of Raw, SmackDown, and NXT will step aside to give the female WWE Superstars the spotlight they deserve — WWE Evolution 2025 will feature no male Superstars competing in the ring.
In other words, it's time for your favorite WWE women to shine on a platform all their own:
The all-women's wrestling event will feature WWE Superstars past and present competing for the top championships — and bragging rights — in the organization. And yes, the WWE Women's Championship and Women's World Championship will both be on the line that night.
In many ways, Evolution 2025 will act as a love letter to women's professional wrestling — and here's everything fans should know about the can't-miss event, including how to tune in.
When is WWE Evolution?
Evolution 2025 is scheduled to air live at 7 p.m. ET on Sunday, July 13, from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
The all-women's event will follow hot on the heels of Saturday Night's Main Event, which is currently scheduled for Saturday, July 12, live on NBC.
How can fans watch WWE Evolution live?
For years, Peacock has been the exclusive home of WWE Premium Live Events for fans in the United States, and Evolution 2025 is no different. Catching a memorable night of women's wrestling is as easy as logging on to Peacock at 7 p.m. ET on July 13!
Of course, Peacock is more than just the home of the hottest WWE events of the year — including mega-shows like WrestleMania and SummerSlam — it's also the place to watch all your favorite NBC shows on-demand whenever you like.
When was the first WWE Evolution?
The first-ever WWE Evolution PLE took place on October 28, 2018, at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.
The entire night was filled with matches featuring the pioneers of women's wrestling, current WWE Superstars, and up-and-coming wrestlers. Not only were many of the top women's titles in WWE on the line, but much like this year's event, Evolution was highlighted by a chaotic 20-Woman Battle Royal that saw Nia Jax outlast 19 other Superstars in the end:
The evening's main event saw Ronda Rousey successfully defend the WWE Women's Championship against Nikki Bella, wrapping up a wild night of in-ring action that also saw future main roster stars Rhea Ripley, IYO SKY, Liv Morgan, and Kairi Sane competing.
This year, fans should expect nothing less than a stellar top-to-bottom match lineup featuring all your favorite Superstars from Raw, SmackDown, and NXT.
And who knows? There may even be a title change or two in the cards inside Nassau Coliseum!
You can tune in to Peacock to watch Evolution 2025 on Sunday, July 13. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock.
