The Rainmaker Cast Celebrates Season 2 Renewal in the Cutest Way Possible (Watch)
More thrills are in store on USA Network’s The Rainmaker because the legal drama is returning for season two.
The Rainmaker fans, all rise for good news!
Rudy Baylor and Leo Drummond will return for more nail-biting courtroom drama in season two.
Mere days after the season one finale ended—and left so many burning questions—USA Network announced that the hit series based on the John Grisham novel will be back in 2026.
Legal eagles everywhere are cheering, especially the show’s stars Lana Parrilla (Bruiser), Milo Callaghan (Rudy), P.J. Byrne (Deck Shiflett), and Madison Iseman (Sarah Plankmore). In a charming clip on USA Network’s official Instagram, the actors celebrated during a group video call, confirming what we already suspected: They keep each other on speed dial.
“What’s up, boo boo! Is it still raining wherever you go?” Byrne asked Callaghan, who joked back, “You know what they call me, One hundred percent chance of rain.”
Parrilla chimed in, “That’s right, baby, keep on making it rain because we are coming back for a season two."
Iseman cheered, “Let’s gooooo!!”

“The verdict is in — The Rainmaker is returning for season two on USA Network,” Val Boreland, President, Entertainment, Versant, added in an Oct. 23 announcement. “Along with our brilliant showrunner Michael Seitzman and our partners at Lionsgate and Blumhouse, we’re thrilled to build on the momentum and deliver another compelling chapter of this gripping legal drama for our viewers.”
Now that Rudy won the hospital case at the heart of season one, and Leo (John Slattery) and his firm are under FBI investigation, what’s next for TV’s baddest attorneys? We’re looking forward to seeing how the cliffhangers are resolved, but there’s still one question left: how do we get on this party line?
You can stream all the episodes from the first season right now on Peacock.
