Your first look at USA Network’s Anna Pigeon is here.

There are few things better than a well-done mystery. Add in a crime-stopping park ranger and the majesty of U.S National Parks, and we may be entering binge-worth territory.

The highly anticipated new series will be putting our sleuthing skills to the test in 2026, but you can watch the first official teaser right now.

In the Oct. 17 teaser, we meet park ranger Anna Pigeon, played by Chicago P.D. alum Tracy Spiridakos, and learn she is trying to outrun a traumatic past by finding solace in nature. As a vast forest comes into view, she explains, “Out here, you can leave your past behind.”

But what’s in front of her are several deadly and treacherous situations, as hinted at in the clip. As she travels across the country, Anna finds herself investigating a series of crimes and murders committed in national parks.

“Nature can hide dark secrets,” she says. “It’s my job to unearth them.”

The backdrop of the wilderness promises extra thrills and action-packed moments, as we see her encounter a mountain lion at night and, in another scene, hold on for dear life to a steep cliff edge.

There’s romance in store as well, and a glimpse of Anna Pigeon’s sly sense of humor, when she quips to someone on the phone, “Don’t die or I will kill you.”

What is Anna Pigeon About?

Based on the beloved New York Times best-selling book series, the TV adaptation is a passion project for director Lea Thompson, who spent 15 years developing the show. She described directing the pilot, airing sometime in 2026, as a “dream come true.”

Joining Spiridakos will be Star Trek’s Ronnie Rowe Jr. as FBI agent and “wanderer” Frederick Stanton and Tricia Hefler as Anna’s sister, Molly Pigeon. Additional cast includes Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz, Cooper Levy, and Ryan Northcott, as well as Paulina Alexis, Jordan Sledz, Crystle Lightning, and Nikki Hallow.

Todd Berger, Julie Di Cresce, Brett Burlock, Peter Emerson, Sonia Hosko, and Gordon Gilbertson are set to executive produce.
