WWE’s newest resident giant, Omos, has been doing a lot of traveling this week. Just one day after traveling 17 hours to Saudi Arabia where he faced Braun Strowman in a literally gigantic match at Crown Jewel, Omos traveled back to Lagos, Nigeria, for the first time in 14 years to surprise his family — and their reactions are the most heartwarming and wholesome thing you’ll see today.

How to Watch

Watch Monday Night RAW every Monday evening at 8/7c on USA Network. Stream more exciting WWE series on Peacock.

Despite The Nigerian Giant’s best efforts and dominating most of the match, Strowman was able to catch the bigger man with a Running Powerslam for the monumental win. After the event, instead of flying back to the United States with the rest of the roster, the 400-pound, 7’3”-tall wrestler took a different flight straight home to Nigeria where his family had no clue he was returning.

TMZ Sports cameras followed Omos as he waited outside his front door before entering his home for the first time since 2008 to the joyful screams of his family members. Tears of happiness flowed as Omos gave ginormous hugs to everyone in his family. The emotional moment shows how loving and proud the former college basketball star’s family is of him as well as how much they must miss him.

According to TMZ, Omos is expected to make a major announcement while back home in Nigeria, but any announcement he makes will be hard to beat the excitement of his surprise visit.

Although Omos lost his match at Crown Jewel, he still looked like the better man throughout the contest. It’s not often that we see The Monster Among Men in Braun Strowman dwarfed in size, but the Nigerian Giant actually towers almost six inches over Strowman. Omos has greatly improved since his 2019 signing with WWE, but wrestling is probably the last thing on his mind as he’s finally been reunited with his family after a decade and a half. Here's hoping he gets to spend some good quality time with them during his visit.

You can rewatch Omos versus Strowman from Crown Jewel on the WWE Network on Peacock!
