WWE Evolution 2025: The Superstars Competing in the All-Women's Match

Title matches galore highlight this historic all-women's event at WWE Evolution 2025.

Evolution 2025 is only a few days away — here are all the exciting matches scheduled for WWE's all-female WWE Premium Live Event!

IYO SKY vs. Rhea Ripley - Women's World Championship

How to Watch

Watch WWE Friday Night SmackDown Fridays at 8/7c on USA Network.

The Women's World Championship has revolved around IYO SKY and Rhea Ripley for all of 2025 — so why wouldn't the biggest night of the year in women's wrestling feature a title match between them?

Ever since IYO SKY stunned the WWE Universe by defeating Rhea Ripley for the title just weeks before WrestleMania, she has maintained a stranglehold on the championship. Evolution will mark Ripley's easiest path toward reclaiming her position as the leader of the WWE women's division — but IYO SKY has only gotten better and more capable as the year rolls on.

As this retrospective explains, the history between these two Superstars is as explosive as any rivalry in WWE history:

Out of all the matches scheduled for Evolution 2025 — and there are many can't-miss ones — this epic showdown between two of the most talented WWE Superstars ever has the best chance to go down as an all-time classic!

Tiffany Stratton vs. Trish Stratus - WWE Women's Championship

Let's be honest: Nobody saw Trish Stratus coming out of nowhere to throw her proverbial hat into the ring for a WWE Women's Championship clash at Evolution, but that's exactly what happened on the July 4 episode of SmackDown:

The champion was quick to point out that Stratus' best days could very well be behind her, while Stratton herself is firmly in her prime.

"I would just like to make one thing clear," Stratton warned her opponent during their face-to-face showdown. "This isn't gonna be easy. It's not the Attitude Era anymore."

Longtime wrestling fans know that Stratton was referring to Trish Stratus' heyday, which occurred during an especially chaotic time in WWE known as the Attitude Era in the late 1990s. Stratus, to her credit, wasn't phased whatsoever.

Call it a dream match, call it a once-in-a-lifetime meeting. Still, we prefer to call it one of the most anticipated title matches in recent history — Tiffany Stratton defending her WWE Women's Title against one of the most influential female WWE Superstars ever is something millions of fans never thought they'd see.

Becky Lynch vs. Bayley vs. Lyra Valkyria - Women's Intercontinental Championship

There's nothing like a Triple Threat match to thrill the WWE Universe — the fact that it doubles as Becky Lynch's most high-profile Women's Intercontinental Title defense yet is just icing on the cake.

Since embracing her inner jerk — to put it lightly — and turning her back on the fans, Lynch is now faced with the unenviable task of competing against two Superstars who have historically had the WWE Universe's full support in Bayley and Lyra Valkyria. So if Lynch thinks defending her title against one fan favorite was tough enough, the reality check of defending against two beloved Superstars may be the tipping point.

Less than a week before their match, however, Valkyria took it upon herself to get the upper hand ahead of Evolution and left her opponents lying during the July 7 episode of Raw:

Now that's how you make a statement.

If that's the tenacity fans can expect from the former Women's Intercontinental Champion at Evolution, Becky Lynch's title reign could be over long before The Man overstays her welcome as champion!

20-Woman Battle Royal

The WWE Universe has to hand it to Raw General Manager Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis. The two men realized the magnitude of Evolution 2025 and didn't waste any time scheduling a 20-Woman Battle Royal for the event with an intriguing prize for the winner: a future Women's Championship match against an opponent of their choosing at August's Clash in Paris PLE!

Although no Superstars have been officially confirmed for the over-the-top rope Battle Royal (yet), fans should expect the 20-Superstar field to be rounded out with many familiar faces, both past and present.

After all, when a future title shot is on the line, expect a few legends to pop up to show the next generation how to get things done!

Jacy Jayne vs. Jordynne Grace - NXT Women's Championship

Fans are still reeling after Jacy Jayne shocked the world by defeating Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Championship in a match that turned out to be the latter's swan song before being promoted to the SmackDown roster.

To say Jayne made the most of her championship opportunity is an understatement:

(When was the last time you saw a WWE ring announcer so in shock by a match's result that he nearly forgot to announce the winner?)

As career-defining as her victory over Vaquer was, Jane will find herself with the biggest test of her young reign thus far: a showdown with Jordynne Grace. The former TNA Knockouts Champion has been on a rampage since joining NXT — and appearing in multiple Royal Rumble matches in the past few years — and would love nothing more than to begin her reign as queen of NXT at Evolution 2025.

Make no mistake about it: Jacy Jayne will be the underdog in this title clash. Still, she's shocked the world once — does she have another one in her?

Jade Cargill vs. Naomi - No Holds Barred Match

And so it's come to this.

After months of feuding, bitter insults, and sneak attacks, Jade Cargill and Naomi will — hopefully — put an end to their rivalry in the form of a No Holds Barred match at Evolution. And honestly? It couldn't be a better time or place for a match like this.

As the only stipulation match currently scheduled for Evolution 2025, Cargill and Naomi will have the spotlight aimed squarely on themselves as they battle in what will be a chaotic and possibly brutal bout. There's a lot of animosity that exists between these two Superstars, so expect both women to pull out all the stops to end things once and for all. No Holds Barred matches can quickly take a turn into the barbaric — and when you have as much hatred as Cargill and Naomi have for each other, don't be surprised if both women, win or lose, are never the same.

After winning Queen of the Ring, Cargill is looking for another statement win to give her momentum going into her SummerSlam title clash against Tiffany Stratton — but before any of that happens, she has to get past Naomi first.

Raquel Rodriguez & Roxanne Perez vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss vs. The Kabuki Warriors vs. Sol Ruca & Zaria - Women's Tag Team Championship

After Liv Morgan suffered a devastating injury, Roxanne Perez stepped in to defend her half of the Women's Tag Team Titles in her honor — and now Perez and Raquel Rodriguez find themselves in one heck of a title defense scheduled for Evolution!

The challengers are as impressive as it gets. The unlikely and uneasy duo of Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss has all the star power in the world, but can the two living legends stay on the same page long enough to capture the titles?

Fans were shocked when Asuka and Kairi Sane re-formed The Kabuki Warriors, but in a way, it makes perfect sense. The two are absolutely dominant whenever they team together, and their very existence in the Fatal 4-Way match at Evolution could spell trouble for the defending champions — and the two other teams competing.

The wildcard combination in this match has to be NXT's Sol Ruca and Zaria. While they've been mastering their craft on Tuesday nights, this will be — by far — the biggest match of their WWE careers. It's up to them to make the most of this unbelievable opportunity.

It's anyone's guess who will walk out of Evolution with the titles, but whoever does will have a massive target on their backs moving forward.

You can tune in to Peacock to watch Evolution 2025 on Sunday, July 13. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock.
