It’s not your typical dating show. A new Peacock production explores not only the idea of romance, but of unconventional romance. Couple To Throuple takes a closer look at polyamory — specifically, having multiple romantic partners at once.

Host Scott Evans, also the host of Access Hollywood, promises in the trailer that the series will be a “journey for love unlike you’ve ever seen before.”

Here's what you need to know about the new series — including how you can stream Couple to Throuple.

Where can I watch Couple to Throuple?

Couple to Throuple premieres on Peacock on Thursday, Feb. 8 with 10 episodes. The first three episodes of the season will be available that day. The next three episodes will drop on Thursday, Feb. 15, then another three on Thursday, Feb. 22, before the season finale streams separately on Thursday, Feb. 29.

Who is on Couple to Throuple?

Scott Evans, who has previously hosted the NBC competition show World of Dance, will be acting as the show's host. He will be joined by sex and relationship expert Shamyra Howard who helps couples navigate this exciting journey of becoming a throuple.

During the trailer, she told the contestants, “I’m going to test your threshold of watching your partner get intimate with a chosen third.”

Howard is an award-winning sexologist, licensed clinical social worker, sex therapist and an author, according to Today.

What is Couple to Throuple about?

Four couples who want to explore polyamory will test out their fantasies at a gorgeous tropical resort over the span of a month. For many of the contestants, it’s an entirely new experience.

“I’ve never been on a date with three people,” one man could be heard saying in the trailer, as his partner adds, “Me neither!”

Another pair said in trailer, “It’s kinda like our first time dating as a couple.”

Every few days, during coupling ceremonies, a couple will invite one of 14 singles, also at the resort, to throuple-up with them, and get a feel for chemistry. After becoming an official throuple, the group will move into the resort together and share one bed. But love will be on the line throughout the season. The trailer reveals couples questioning connections, and even experiencing jealousy as they explore polyamory.

“At the moment, I don’t see how sex works,” one man said in the trailer to his partner. Another woman said, “I’ll see you two bonding and it’s like, ‘Ugh.’”

One man can even be seen in the trailer throwing a chair into the pool.

"With three times the fun, the feelings, and drama, these relationships are put through the ultimate test to see if they are the perfect match. At the end of their time in paradise, the couples will decide if their hearts have room for more than just 'the one' and commit as a throuple, go home as they arrived, or leave separately," the press release says.

Watch the series when it premieres on Peacock on February 8.
