Where Is The Cast Of 'Suits' Now? What The Actors Have Been Doing Since The Show's Finale

Meghan Markle, Patrick J. Adams, and Gina Torres have kept busy in different ways since "Suits" ended its run in 2019.

Suits Cast

Although the series came to an end in 2019, the cast of the USA Network original series “Suits” isn’t done impacting the world of show business like their characters did in the world of law.

One of the major reasons "Suits" became so popular was the talented cast, who ensured every scene was dripping with drama, intrigue, a touch of sass, and even some laugh-out-loud humor. Although many cast members came and went throughout the show’s nine-season run, the core cast members were who won over fans.

Below is a rundown of what the cast of “Suits” has been up to since the show’s finale.

Meghan Markle

Without a doubt, the person who went on to earn the most fame and attention after the show ended was Meghan Markle, better known now as the Duchess of Sussex.

She left the show a little before its run ended after she fell in love with Britain's Prince Harry. The duo got married in 2018 and she found herself thrust into the public eye after joining what is possibly the most high-profile family on the planet. After years of public scrutiny, Markle and Harry announced in 2020 that they planned to transition out of their royal duties and relinquish the benefits that came with their status within the family.

However, they've still parlayed their high-profile brand into lucrative business deals with Netflix and Spotify to produce content for the platforms. Their documentary content has been a huge hit for Netflix lately, and her podcast “Archetypes” briefly sat at the top of the Spotify podcasting charts, according to Forbes.

When she’s not creating content, she and Harry split their time between Los Angeles and the U.K. while parenting their two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

 Patrick J. Adams

Although the show was an ensemble cast, Adams’ Mike Ross was arguably the main character whose actions kicked off the events of the entire series. Mike, a young and brilliant upstart, managed to carve out a lucrative career for himself in law while the actor who played him did the same in showbiz.

Since “Suits” ended, Adams has starred as John Glenn in the miniseries “The Right Stuff,” based on a book of the same name by author Tom Wolfe. He also did voice work for the TV miniseries “Pandemica” and had a four-episode arc in the new “A League of Their Own” series on Amazon. Currently, you can see him in the original movie “The Swearing Jar.”

In addition, he's taken to the live stage since his time as Mike concluded, starring alongside “Modern Family” star Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jesse Williams in “Take Me Out” on Broadway.

Gabriel Macht

Macht’s Harvey Specter appeared in every episode of “Suits” and was the anchor of the show’s many plotlines. Since the show has ended, Macht’s only acting credit is still as Specter in the spinoff series “Pearson.” But although he seems to have taken a step back from show business, he’s still maintaining an active presence on social media, where he often posts about his life, wellness, green living, and political and social issues.

It’s unclear if he’s done acting forever, but he certainly seems content with what he’s got going on since “Suits” ended.

Sarah Rafferty

Rafferty has kept very busy since her time playing Donna Paulsen on “Suits” came to an end. Like her co-star and best friend since 1993, Macht, she appeared in every episode of the show and subsequently garnered a large fan following.

Rafferty has maintained a presence on television with guest roles in hit shows like “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Chicago Med.” In 2020, she also appeared in the movie “Browse,” which is about a man who is convinced someone has hacked his life and is manipulating it for the sake of controlling him.

When she’s not acting, she’s handling active lifestyle in the world of fashion while raising her two daughters.

Rick Hoffman

Hoffman played Louis Litt in every episode of the show and, despite often being antagonistic, became one of the most beloved characters in the series. Since playing Litt, Hoffman had a brief run as Dr. Swerlow on the hit drama “Billions.” He also guest-starred in the spinoff “Pearson,” like Macht.

When he’s not acting, the New York native is  busy as a family man with his wife and kid, whose antics are featured heavily on his Instagram.

Gina Torres

Torres was a well-known working actress before getting cast as Jessica Pearson on “Suits.” She spun off into the short-lived series named after her character, but her star continued to rise even after that was done.

She’s since lent her voice to video games, podcasts, and cartoons, and appeared in person for guest roles in shows like “Riverdale,” “A Black Lady Sketch Show,” “Westworld,” and more. However, perhaps her most noteworthy and meaty role since “Suits” is her run on the series “9-1-1: Lone Star,” where she plays Tommy Vega.

If that isn’t enough, Torres maintains a very active presence on social media where she constantly provides content for fans of her many projects, including her legendary stint in the beloved show “Firefly.”

You can watch every episode of “Suits” on Peacock right now.
