Whether You Love Suits Or Are Just Starting, These Are The Best Episodes To Watch Now

Suits didn't just introduce the world to Meghan Markle: It's also a sweet and entertaining legal drama you'll want to binge for hours.

Is there any show as comforting to rewatch as Suits

It's hard not to love this legal drama: While there are plenty of dramatic plot points and shocking twists, it's also filled with laugh-out-loud moments (after all, the premise that a college dropout accidentally conned his way into a plush law firm job is inherently goofy) and well-rounded, authentic characters. We get invested in both the cases the law firm works on, and the interpersonal conflicts and touching moments with these characters we care so much about.

So, whether you're overdue for a rewatch or a potential fan considering diving into this beloved series, here are the best, must-see episodes of Suits along with the answers to some pressing questions new and old fans alike may have.

How Many Episodes Of Suits Are There?

Suits ran for nine seasons and a total of 134 episodes, which aired between the premiere in 2011 and its finale in 2019.

What Is The Best Season Of Suits?

There's no objective answer as to the single best season of Suits, but there are a few that fans unanimously agree are certified bangers. For example, like most shows, Season 2 was when Suits really found its footing, its characters's voices and began to play with them in new and interesting ways. Meanwhile, Season 5 is considered by many to have upped the stakes for all of our favorite lawyers. However, for our money Season 9, the finale, is quite interesting to watch. If you've invested in all the previous episodes, it's validating to see the grand finale and get an idea of where all our heroes ended up in the end.

Season 1, Episode 1: "Pilot"

You have to start off with the pilot, of course! This episode introduces you to Harvey Specter (Gabriel Macht) and Mike Ross (Patrick J. Adams), explaining exactly how a marijuana delivery leads to a college dropout gaining a job at a law firm.

Season 2, Episode 1: "She Knows"

Season 2 is generally considered one of the best seasons of Suits with plenty of drama, heart, and laugh-out-loud moments. The Season 2 premiere reveals Jessica Pearson (Gina Torres) knows Mike's secret — and brings in the perfect villain: the firm's co-founder Daniel Hardman (David Costabile).

Season 2, Episode 16: "War"

Naturally, you then need to watch the Season 2 finale, which leads to a rift between Mike and Harvey, an intense legal showdown, and Mike finally getting together with Rachel Zane (Meghan Markle). Aw!

Season 4, Episode 15: "Intent"

Season 4 of Suits is filled with emotional moments and intense personal reckonings, as members of the law firm realize they aren't always the good guys. With Jessica reeling from a breakup and Donna Paulson (Sarah Rafferty) facing prison time, this is easily one of the most heart-wrenching episodes of the season.

Season 5, Episode 10: "Faith"

Look, we all watch Suits wondering when Mike's lies are going to catch up with him. That's exactly what happens in this dramatic episode, which sees Mike facing the music and Jessica gaining a well-deserved win. It's maybe the best episode of the entire series.

Season 6, Episode 10: "P.S.L"

Jessica is one of the mainstays of Suits, so her final episode has to make the list. It's a deep dive into the past of one of the show's most beloved characters, and we're happy to see her get an ending she deserves (well, kind of. She comes back sometimes, fine).

Season 7, Episode 16: "Good-Bye"

Speaking of goodbyes, how could we forget the final episode with Mike as a series regular — and the final one with Rachel? (Gee, wonder what happened to that Meghan Markle gal ... ).

It is so satisfying to see Mike and Rachel finally get their happy ending together, even if it's sad to say goodbye to these characters as they set off on a new adventure.

Season 9, Episode 5: "If The Shoe Fits"

When the main character of a show leaves before the finale, odds are good he or she will be back for a quick visit before the series ends. Such was the case for Mike Ross, who returned in the Season 9 episode “If The Shoe Fits” where he surprises Harvey with a visit and, after some pizza and beer, confesses that he’s back in town to go up against his best friend and mentor on a case. While it sounds dramatic, it doesn’t come close to denting their immaculate friendship.

Season 9, Episode 8: "Prisoner's Dilemma"

As with any final stretch of a show, Season 9 of Suits has a lot of loose ends to tie up and it does so in “Prisoner’s Dilemma.” Although Mike is no longer on the show, that doesn’t mean Harvey is done keeping his secrets, particularly his actions that got him out of prison. Now it’s Harvey who is facing the handcuffs and it will take every ounce of his cleverness and determination to wriggle out from under this one. Meanwhile, Louis makes a huge decision that will shape the rest of his life.

Season 9, Episode 10: "One Last Con"

And of course, we have to include the series finale. It's the perfect goodbye to a show that's made us laugh and touched our hearts with characters we really care about. Everyone's storylines wrap up perfectly. And once we finish with this one, well, it's time to start over with Episode 1!

Every episode of Suits is available to watch on Peacock.
