What would Monday Night RAW be without a wild Seth Rollins outfit choice and the WWE Universe singing along to his theme song? Every week, The Architect seems to break the internet with his eccentric fashion choices that range from exotic-colored and patterned suits to a lingerie-looking bodysuit. Last Monday’s choice, a matching lace top and bottom, set social media ablaze with everybody from fans to other wrestlers having a strong opinion. One of the more interesting and hilarious comparisons, however, was made by WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus.
The former Women’s Champion took to her TikTok and Instagram story where she posted pictures and videos of Rollins’ outfit side by side with a similar black outfit she wore in the Attitude Era and asked fans, “Who wore it better?”
The video has garnered thousands of likes and has the WWE Universe split in their decision. While many people think The Kingslayer was bold to rock the outfit, the majority of fans obviously sided with Stratus.
Not everyone was a fan of the outfit, however, with fans and personalities alike such as Vince Russo saying, “Bro, just come out in lingerie next week.”
One fan even said, “Can we not talk about his outfit!”
At Survivor Series, Rollins lost his United States Championship in a Triple Threat match with Bobby Lashley to Austin Theory making him a two-time U.S. Champ. Prior to that, Rollins had defeated Theory after he failed to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase. Theory is only the fifth person to fail to cash in his contract and the first to do so on the United States Champion in an effort to avoid Roman Reigns and The Bloodline.
The Aug. 22 edition of RAW saw Trish Stratus’ latest appearance in her hometown of Toronto, Canada.
