If you're looking for ways to bring in the new year with your family, how about a good old-fashioned game night, but with game shows?

There are several game shows you can watch and participate along with from the comfort of your own home as you countdown to 2023. Here are some of our favorites.

"Snake in The Grass"

Find out who you can and cannot trust in your family while playing along with the USA Network competition series “Snake In The Grass.” The show is an action-packed social experiment hosted by national radio and television personality Bobby Bones. Each episode features four players who are dropped into the wild where they must figure out who is the “the Snake” of the group that is secretly undermining their efforts.

The players compete in a series of grueling challenges to receive a clue that helps reveal the identity of the snake. Fan favorite reality competition stars appear in the show from “Survivor,” “Big Brother,” and “Naked and Afraid.”

The winner takes home a cash prize, but if someone in your family figures out who the snake is, perhaps they win a day off from chores!

"Barmageddon"

“Barmageddon” takes bar games to a whole new level between celebrities and everyday patrons at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red in Nashville. Blake Shelton and Carson Daly star in the celebrity game show, along with WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella as the host.

Barmageddon Jay Pharoah Martin Kove2

You can watch the USA Network game show and play your own version at home with your family on New Year’s Eve. You can play beer pong, darts, and cornhole while watching the “Barmageddon” showdown. Don’t forget the drinks!

"Dancing With Myself"

Do you know the latest social media dances? Then it’s time to battle! The NBC show “Dancing With Myself’ is a family-friendly competition that brings out your inner performer. Singer Shakira and her judging panel provide instant feedback and the audience decides who wins Best Dancer of the Night to determine the winner. You and your family can participate in the dance challenges to decide who wins the best dancer of the house.

"College Bowl"

Are you ready to test your academic skills? Football star Peyton Manning and his brother Cooper host NBC’s “College Bowl” as students from rival colleges compete to win scholarship money. At home, you can test your knowledge to see if you advance to the next round. The game features two teams with three scholars. Of course, there’s football jargon involved.

"Celebrity Game Face"

Comedian and Actor Kevin Hart brings laughter, fun, and games in this game show. All of the celebrity couples are playing from their own homes, so you can play along from yours! From trivia to physical challenges, you can compete beside your favorite celebrities as you watch "Celebrity Game Face” on Peacock.

"Password"

If you and your family love word games, then you’ll want to watch the NBC series “Password.” With actress Keke Palmer at the helm hosting the reboot of the 1961 classic game, contestants are paired with Jimmy Fallon and other celebrities to face off in the ultimate game of words. The game is centered around guessing a secret password using only one-word clues.

Here’s how to play at home: Two contestants compete against each other. At the start of each round, one player on the team is given the password, and the teammate has to guess the word.
