A little bit of style goes a long way, and no one knows that better than Amy Reimann, a respected interior designer whose career of crafting and curating gorgeous, whimsical motifs in lavish, North Carolina mansions led her straight into the arms of the legendary NASCAR Cup Series speedster, Dale Earnhardt Jr. He needed someone to help him design his house in Kannapolis, North Carolina, but what he got in return from the Lone Star state native was a whole lot more.

Where did Amy Reimann grow up, and what are her hobbies?

Reimann has roots in the deep south.

Born March 25 in Texas, Reimann and her sister Katie were raised by her parents Jeffrey and Anna. Reimann loves to stay busy, and enjoys a long list of hobbies, including movies, jazz, and traveling, according to Biographypedia. Reimann also likes to get out and be around nature as much as possible, especially if there are lakes and forests to experience.

Where did Amy Reimann go to school?

Long before Reimann forged an ambitious career as a successful interior designer, she cultivated her impeccable taste at the University of Kentucky. From mid-century modern to farmhouse chic, Reimann explored every design avenue as she developed her acumen in interior aesthetics. Not only that, but she also served as a member of the school's cheerleading team, according to the Courier Journal. After graduating from UK in 2005 with a degree in interior design, Reimann reportedly worked at Wakefield Beasley & Associates, a private architectural and planning firm, before accepting a position at the prestigious Micamy Design Studio. Along her career journey, she created Renovation Realities: Dale Jr. & Amy, a reality television show she did with Earnhardt Jr. The unscripted program first aired on the DIY Network in June of 2018.

What was Amy Reimann’s romance like with Dale Earnhardt, Jr.?

Though Reimann was previously married to her college sweetheart Tommy Cook, once she started seeing Earnhardt, they were pretty much inseparable. After two years of keeping their relationship under wraps, the duo stepped out for their first public appearance together at the NASCAR Spring Cup ceremony in 2012, according to Essentially Sports. The happy couple wed just four years later in 2016 during a romantic New Year’s Eve ceremony at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, NC.

How many children do Amy Reimann and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. have?

In May of 2018, Reimann and Earnhardt Jr. welcomed their first daughter, naming her Isla Rose Earnhardt. The couple’s second child, another girl, named Nicole Lorraine, was born in October of 2020.

Ever since Earnhardt. Jr. retired from NASCAR in 2017, Reimann does a lot more than just raise the kids as she also plays a crucial role with many of the couple’s entrepreneurial endeavors outside of stock car racing. With brands often approaching Earnhardt Jr. for collaborative partnerships or sponsorship concepts, Reimann always remains front and center, doing her due diligence as his business partner. The power couple teamed up to launch High Rock Vodka, propelling it into stores as a household name within the liquor business.
