NBC Sports will be kicking it into high gear this weekend with coverage of two major motorsports events.

Get set for the annual NASCAR Cup Series race, Go Bowling at the Glen, which will broadcast live on Sunday, August 10 at 2 p.m. ET on USA Network. As always, the challenging course in Watkins Glen, New York, promises lots of thrills, featuring changes in elevation and plenty of tricky turns — and nary a bowling ball in sight (the bowling industry sponsors the race). You can rev your engines early by tuning into the live pre-race coverage, Countdown to Green, starting at 1:30 p.m. ET.

For fans of off-road motorcycling, the Pro Motocross season includes an exciting stop at Ironman Raceway in Crawfordsville, Indiana, known for its insanely steep hills, including the Godzilla, a massive uphill jump. Tune into the action exclusively on Peacock on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 1 p.m. ET.

About the NASCAR Cup Series Go Bowling at the Glen

NASCAR fans are eagerly awaiting the upcoming competition: The previous race, the Iowa Corn 350 on USA Network, was the most-watched sporting event on TV last weekend. William Byron was the unexpected winner; he had previously run out of fuel twice this season, but is now at the top of the standings, followed by Chase Briscoe and Brad Keselowski.

Presiding over the Peacock Pit Box during Sunday’s race will be NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Jarrett, who will anchor the coverage. Co-host Marty Snider will handle Saturday’s pre-race play-by-play.

Where to Watch

Catch the action live on USA Network, which is home to nine of the next 10 Cup Series races, or stream it on NBCSports.com or the NBC Sports app. Countdown to Green begins on Sunday, August 10 at 1:30 p.m. ET, followed by the main event, Go Bowling at The Glen, at 2 p.m. A post-race wrap-up starts at 4:30 p.m.

About Pro Motocross: Ironman Raceway

For Motocross fans, it’s been a long summer. After a three-week hiatus, the season will return with a bang on Saturday. In the 450 Class, Jett Lawrence leads with 337 points, while his brother, Hunter Lawrence, and Eli Tomac round out the top three.

NBC Sports’ Jason Weigandt and SuperMotocross analyst James Stewart, a seven-time AMA champion, will call the action, with Jason Thomas and Katie Osborne as reporters.

Where to Watch

Pre-race live coverage starts at 10 a.m. ET on Saturday, August 9, exclusively on Peacock. The Ironman Raceway begins at 1 p.m. ET, with audio coverage on SiriusXM NBC Sports (Channel 85). But don't worry if you miss the race. An encore will be available the next day, Sunday, August 10, at 11:30 a.m. ET on Peacock.
