Lost Speedways

Lost Speedways is another must-watch for NASCAR fans. Hosted by retired racing star Dale Earnhardt Jr., who won 26 Cup Series titles, the series explores abandoned speedways across the U.S., many of which have been taken over by nature and time.

Weaving together forgotten stories and interviews with racing legends, Earnhardt Jr. and co-host Matthew Dillner spent years researching and mapping these formerly iconic tracks before launching the show in 2020.

“My reasons for wanting to do this show were purely selfish—I love the mystique and eeriness of abandoned things,” Earnhardt Jr. told Nascar.com, “But this experience made me realize pretty quickly that, like everything else in life, there is more to it than just what you see. We learned there were unsung heroes, remarkable feats, incredible memories, checkered pasts, and unhealed wounds that still needed attention.”

Among the speedways featured are Texas World Speedway, America’s only lost superspeedway (two miles or longer), and Myrtle Beach Speedway, where Earnhardt Jr.’s career began.

Austin Dillon's Life in the Fast Lane

Austin Dillon’s Life in the Fast Lane is NASCAR’s answer to reality shows like Real Housewives, blending relationship drama and an over-the-top luxury with pro racing.

Set in Lexington, North Carolina, the heart of NASCAR country, the series follows on the glamorous day-to-day doings of Austin Dillon, a 2018 Daytona 500 Champion, and his inner circle, including wife, Whitney, toddler, Ace, and real-life best friends, Paul and Mariel Swan.

And if Whitney looks familiar, that’s because the former University of Chattanooga cheerleader starred in another light-hearted reality show, Racing Wives, in 2019.

Each episode takes the audience on a whirlwind tour through Dillon’s high-profile world as he navigates the demands of his career and his personal life.

Tune into the remaining NASCAR Cup Series races on USA Network, NBC, and Peacock. The Cup Series Playoffs begin on Oct. 12 at 5:30 p.m. ET on USA Network. To find out more, check the Cup Series Schedule.
