Will There Be An 'Indian Matchmaking' Season 3? Here’s What We Know So Far?
On the reality show "Indian Matchmaking," matchmaker Sima Taparia helps people find their soulmates.
USA Network fans know that to find your soulmate, sometimes you have to turn to unconventional means. Consider Nicole Rémy, who lived like it was the Regency era to find her Mr. Darcy on "The Courtship," or the many couples who come to "Temptation Island" to discover whether their relationship is worth fighting for, or if they're more compatible with someone else. Basically, love doesn't always come easy!
That's likely why many enjoy watching the Netflix reality show "Indian Matchmaking," which debuted in 2020, and features people who have turned to top Mumbai matchmaker Sima Tiparia, who works with clients in both the United States and India, find love. Viewers instantly fell in love with the show, which reveals a very different kind of dating than the app culture that permeates the U.S. these days. Instead, it's been described as an authentic look at arranged marriages and the way matchmaking works in a different culture. It's fascinating to watch the cast featured on the show describe what they're looking for to Tiparia, take her advice, and make their way through dates as they try to find the person they're meant to marry.
So far, two seasons of the "Indian Matchmaking" have hit Netflix, with the most recent dropping in August 2022. Those who have binged the series are now wondering — will there be a Season 3 of the romance reality show? And when will it arrive? Well, here's what we know about Season 3.
Netflix has indeed confirmed a third season of "Indian Matchmaking" all the way back in March, according to TODAY. The streaming services revealed last month that it's coming very soon, too: Fans can expect to see Season 3 hit Netflix in spring 2023, reported Variety. The new season will bring back Tiparia, and much like Season 2, will feature a mix of old faces and new among the cast.
But while you wait for a new season of "Indian Matchmaking," there is plenty of unique dating reality shows to catch up on. All four seasons of "Temptation Island" are available to stream on Peacock, as is a new season of "Love Island." You can't run out of dating shows to watch!
