Wait, Joey Logano Has His Wife Saved As What In His Phone?

Joey Logano and Brittany Baca welcomed their third child to the world in the series premiere of "Race For The Championship."

During the series premiere of "Race For The Championship," Joey Logano had a conundrum on his hands: He had an important race in the NASCAR Cup Series ahead of him — but his wife, Brittany Baca, was due to give birth any day.

At one point in the unscripted USA Network series, which airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET/PT, Logano talks with Baca about the logistics of the impending birth, which revealed more than just Logano's concerns about juggling his professional and personal obligations. It also showed viewers Logano has a very unique — albeit affectionate — nickname for Baca in his phone: Caller ID revealed he has her saved in his phone as "My Hot Ass Wife."

Of course, that name in his phone makes total sense for anyone who's followed Logano and Baca's love story. The two met when they were working at an ice skating rink together in high school; he drove the Zamboni and she worked at the concessions stand, according to the "Associated Press." They made it official in 2013, when Logano proposed to her with more than just an engagement ring: He also bought her a Thunderbird since she hated the old car she was driving at the time.

“I’m not going to do any better,” Logano said, according to the outlet. “I knew that. She’s a great girl. I’ve been dating her for a long time, and she’s really actually my first kiss and the first girl I ever went out with, so that’s kind of cool to have that relationship for a long time and figured I’d go for it.”

The two married in December 2014. Since then, they've had two sons, Hudson and James, as well as the baby daughter born in the "Race For The Championship" premiere. However, their journey to becoming parents wasn't an easy one. Baca was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome before the pair wed, which can impact one's fertility. They ended up using in vitro fertilization to have their first and second child, "NBC Sports" reported.

"I want to let people know they’re not alone. One awesome things about pain and struggle is it’s an equalizer. Everybody goes through it," she said.

As for Baca, she's devoted to being a supportive wife and a loving mother, but her major passion is her work with the Joey Logano Foundation, which focuses on helping children and young adults in need. Per the organization's website, it "invests in organizations offering second chances to children and young adults during times of crisis and works to inspire others to live a life of generosity." Baca, who graduated from UNC Charlotte with a degree in psychology, is the vice chairman of the board.

Oh, and as we saw on "Race For The Championship," it all worked out for Logano and Baca with the issue of the baby's timing. Logano actually won the race, and was still able to be present for the birth of his first daughter, who they named Emilia.
