Yes, The 'Barmageddon' Theme Song Is Insanely Catchy: Here Are The Lyrics

The song was co-written by none other than the iconic hitmaker Jimmy Buffett.

By Becca van Sambeck

When you have Blake Shelton on a show, you know there will be good music involved — and "Barmageddon" is no exception.

How to Watch

Watch new episodes of Barmageddon Mondays at 11/10c on USA Network

On USA Network's new game show, where celebrities go head-to-head in wild and inventive bar games, Shelton is the resident musician (which makes sense as it all takes place at the Nashville bar he co-owns, Ole Red). In each episode, Shelton performs a fun sing-along song with his band. Meanwhile, Carson Daly acts as a bartender while Nikki Bella is the series' host. Blake's songs are a fun part of each episode, but it's not the only musical moment.

The "Barmageddon" theme song, which was written by Jimmy Buffett and Mac McAnally and performed Shelton, kicks off each episode. It's an insanely catchy tune you'll want to sing along to again and again — and now you can!

Here are the lyrics for the song, which you can listen to here, or during each "Barmageddon" episode, airing Mondays at 11 p.m. ET/PT:

Barmageddon

A high tech, honky tonk shotgun wedding

There ain’t no tellin’ how it’s gonna go

Barmageddon

You never know just what you’re gettin’

But win, lose or draw it’s gonna be a show

There’s a neon sign at the edge of town

A watering hole where we can all throw down

Anything can happen there

And it usually does

We got suits and cowboys and kids and freaks

We all high five at the end of the week

But come Monday it’ll be alright

But we’re still gonna have a buzz from…

Barmageddon

A high tech, honky tonk shotgun wedding

There ain’t no tellin’ how it’s gonna go

Barmageddon

You never know just what you’re gettin’

But win, lose or draw we’re puttin’ on a show

They got chainsaws and chicken wire

A tip jar mounted on an amplifier

A good ol’ boy up there askin’

For a dollar’s worth of Johnny Cash

If you’re under the table or over the hill

Or up from Ol’ Red or Margaritaville

Dance all night or just tryin’ to chill

We’re all gonna have a blast at…

Barmageddon

A high tech, honky tonk shotgun wedding

There ain’t no tellin’ how it’s gonna go

Barmageddon

You never know just what you’re gettin’

But win, lose or draw there’s gonna be a show
