Now that “Temptation Island” Season 4 is over, the couples have made their final decisions about where they stand with each other. While most of their love stories ended in heartbreak, one couple managed to persevere and left the experience stronger than ever.

Before reuniting with their significant others, Hania Stocker and Luke Wechselberger made up their minds about how they wanted to leave the island. They both purchased engagement rings for Ash Lamiroult and Iris Jardiel, respectively.

Unfortunately, only one of them would get the answer they were hoping for. After confessing that he cheated on Ash before coming on the island, Hania had to watch as his significant other of more than a year moved on with Taylor Patrick. Still, he made an attempt at their reunion to prove he had changed and now recognizes the importance Ash has in his life. It was too little, too late, though. Ash cried and rejected his proposal in favor of leaving the island single.

After that, Luke arrived at his final bonfire with a ring in his pocket and only one chance to prove that “Temptation Island” made him the person Iris wanted him to be.

She explained prior to their reunion that she hoped this would be a “cheating test” for Luke after they experienced some infidelity on his part in the past. However, she learned she had her own shortcomings when it came to commitment that her time on the island with George Maxey and Deac Conti helped her work through.

However, she made it clear upon seeing Luke again for the first time that she was willing to walk away from their relationship if he didn’t demonstrate accountability for his past actions.

Fortunately, Luke was prepared to do just that. Throughout his time on the island, he proved he understood his assignment. Although it took him a lot of time and thought, which forced Iris to see clips of him talking as though she should be over his past mistakes, he realized he’d been coasting in their relationship and keeping her at arm's length. All of this was born of a fear of getting hurt.

“I’m not here to abandon and disappoint you. I love you,” Iris says. “And if you can’t see that, it doesn’t justify you doing what you did to me and it needs to stop.”

Luke agrees and tells her he’s a completely different person now and credits her decision to come on “Temptation Island” for it.

“I’m just thanking you for taking us here because, I don’t think I would have changed without us coming here,” he says.

With that, the two decide they want to leave the island together and host Mark L. Walberg says goodbye. However, to her surprise, he leads her to a patch of grass decorated with flowers and pops the big question.

“You’ve shown me so much love since the beginning. You’ve been there literally since day one when I started my entire life in this new trajectory and you’ve been the sweetest, most patient, amazing woman that I’ve ever met and, I don’t know what else to say,” Luke says before getting on one knee. “I want you to be my girl forever and ever. Would you make me the luckiest man in the world?”

“Yes, Absolutely,” Iris says.

Just like that, Iris and Luke became the only couple from “Temptation Island” Season 4 to not only leave together but get engaged.

“I had a lot of breakthroughs out here,” he concludes. “Oh my god! We survived ‘Temptation Island.’”
