Resident Alien Season 4 Official Trailer

Harry Vanderspeigle is back and powerless(?!) in Resident Alien Season 4.

How to Watch

Watch new episodes of Resident Alien Fridays at 11/10c on USA Network.

Having debuted on USA Network and SYFY on June 6, the latest batch of episodes begins with Alan Tudyk's lovable cosmic visitor trapped on The Greys' secret prison on the moon. His stolen identity back on Earth has been purloined by a shapeshifting and flesh-hungry Mantid, whose approximation of human behavior is even weirder than anything we've seen before — if you can believe it.

Thankfully, the trailer footage confirms that the Harry we know and love escapes his lunar cell along with his son, Bridget. There's just one catch: The Greys implanted him with a device that tamps down his awesome alien abilities, which means a less-than-romantic reunion with Edi Patterson's Blue Avian, Heather.

Meanwhile, Asta and D’arcy struggle to keep a secret from Ben and Kate, who are both desperate to find answers to what has been happening to them. Sheriff Mike and Deputy Liv attempt to solve some mysterious deaths in Patience that Sheriff Mike thinks aren’t caused by anything human...

Sara Tomko (Asta Twelvetrees), Alice Wetterlund (D'arcy Bloom), Corey Reynolds (Sheriff Mike Thompson), Elizabeth Bowen (Deputy Liv Baker), Judah Prehn (Max Hawthorne), Levi Fiehler (Mayor Ben Hawthorne), and Meredith Garretson (Kate Hawthorne) also return to play their characters from the first three seasons.

An alien appears a desert in Resident Alien Season 3.

"The characters have almost fallen into three different factions, where you have Asta, D'arcy, and Harry, who know about Harry's stuff and are a little bit all-knowing in other stuff," series creator/showrunner Chris Sheridan told SYFY WIRE last spring. "But then you have Mike and Liv, who now believe that aliens exist. You have Ben and Kate, who now believe that aliens exist. So now you're waiting for, 'Are they gonna team up?' "I think that's going to be fun to explore... Maybe we'll even get into two camps, where you have the camp that knows about Greys but doesn't know that Harry is an alien," he added, laughing. "And then the Harry group that knows kind of everything...while a Mantid is running amok eating people in town."

Gary Farmer, Gracelyn Awad Rinke, Jenna Lamia, Sarah Podemski, Linda Hamilton, Enver Gjokaj, Terry O’Quinn, Clancy Brown, and Edi Patterson also return for Season 4.
