The Miz & Alexa Bliss Steal the Show with Unforgettable Musical Performances on Jimmy Fallon

Sometimes we’re just in awe of Superstars performing outside the ring!

Buckle up, WWE Universe: Some of your favorite Superstars will rock your world, and it has nothing to do with competing inside the ring!

How to Watch

Last night, The Miz and Alexa Bliss appeared on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, but not for reasons you might think. For once, a Superstar television appearance did not revolve around hyping an upcoming WWE event or furthering an on-screen storyline on RAW or SmackDown. Instead, The Miz and Alexa were invited to Fallon’s show for one reason: To sing their hearts out.

That’s My Jam Has an Impressive Alumni List

Jimmy Fallon is known for putting celebrities and athletes into fun and memorable situations, and it should come as no surprise to the WWE Universe that The Miz and Alexa Bliss were brought on to participate in Fallon’s “That’s My Jam” weekly karaoke segment. “That’s My Jam” has quite an extensive celebrity alumni list, as celebs like Ariana Grande, Chance the Rapper, T-Pain, and countless other A-listers have stopped by to participate in their own homemade viral moments. (Adam Lambert singing "The Muffin Man" with a Cher accent must be seen – and heard – to be believed.)

The WWE Superstar-infused festivities kicked off with The Miz finding out he’d be participating in a “Baby Got Backup” segment, which means he’d be performing a hit song with the help of a professional dance crew. To make matters infinitely more interesting, the song he’d be performing was revealed to be the Usher smash-hit “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love.”

(No pressure there, Miz!)

The Miz and Alexa Bliss Take the Stage For Unforgettable Karaoke Performances

Before the WWE Universe knew what was happening, The Miz was ushered (pun very much intended) onto the stage for the karaoke performance of a lifetime.

Honestly, is there anything The Miz can’t do? From dominating the reality television industry to hosting WrestleMania to being one of the most decorated WWE Superstars of all time, he never ceases to amaze us – even though it pains us to admit it. It’s time to come to a stern realization: The Miz is one of the greatest entertainers ever to hold a microphone, and his performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon cemented it for us. Even detractors of the eight-time WWE Intercontinental Champion have to give credit where credit is due: The Miz is a born performer, entertainer, and WWE Superstar. So give the man his flowers.

Following The Miz’s epic performance, it was multi-time WWE Women’s Champion Alexa Bliss’ turn to wow the audience. Unfortunately, Alexa’s fate seemed to be sealed when she found out she’d be performing in a “Magic Mic” karaoke session – meaning she’d be singing into various voice-changing microphones while performing. Luckily, Alexa was presented with a song to sing that she was innately familiar with: Blink-182’s “All the Small Things.” In retrospect, it was fitting that Alexa – frequently named “Five Feet of Fury” by WWE announcers – was paired with a song called “All the Small Things.”

We don’t know if there’s anything more entertaining than watching Alexa Bliss adorably crack up every time she switches microphones – she had Jimmy, The Miz, and the rest of the crew of The Tonight Show in stitches for the entirety of her performance! We have to hand it to her; covering a classic Blink-182 song is no easy feat, but Alexa put her all into it and ended up with a karaoke performance for the ages.

When all was said and done, The Miz and Alexa Bliss made us realize that the WWE Universe needs more Superstars to stop by Jimmy Fallon’s show! We’re crossing our fingers that both memorable performances will lead to more Superstars participating in the future.
