Except for one, every couple who came to “Temptation Island” in Season 4 ultimately split up. However, that doesn’t mean the singles left the island without making a love connection beyond the couples.

How to Watch

Lascelles Lagares decided to leave the island with someone new: Trace Winningham. Many thought his (now ex) girlfriend Ashley Rodriguez was going to opt to leave with the man she made a deep connection with, Blake Blumenshine. However, she ultimately decided she was better off being single for the time being.

In the "Temptation Island Reunion” of Season 4, Ashley and Blake reunited and they explained they didn’t pursue anything meaningful once the show ended, but that doesn’t mean they weren’t grateful to each other.

Blake revealed that, although it didn’t crystalize into a relationship between them, he was grateful to Ashley for teaching him to open up. That’s when he revealed that, because of his newfound openness, he was able to find love with fellow Season 4 single, Madelyn “Juicy” Rusinyak.

“Honestly, on like our last couple days we were talking about Lascelles. I was pampering you, I was feeding you with many comments but you helped me open up and, without that experience, I wouldn’t be able to, luckily, find myself with Madelyn,” he said.

“Why am I choked up?!” a stunned Mark L. Walberg joked.

The host then asked how long the two singles had been official and they confirmed it's been for a couple months since leaving the island. They didn't reveal when they officially got together or how, but they definitely wouldn't have met if it wasn't for their time on "Temptation Island."

Fortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between the new couple and Ashley, who also noted how grateful she was to have had someone like Blake to walk her through what would ultimately become her breakup.

“The way Blake came across, so loving and just a shoulder to not only cry on, but I could tell you anything and you wouldn't judge me,” she said. “I want to tell you from the bottom of my heart that you literally made me the woman I am right now."

He concluded: “It just makes me thankful that I was there to help you for the whole journey because we were pretty much best friends the whole time.”

So, while the Blake and Ashley story did not end in love between them, it did indeed end in a love story as he and Madelyn are now an item. As far as right now, it's the only new couple who got together from “Temptation Island” Season 4.

It was revealed on the reunion that Lascelles’ relationship with Trace fizzled out off the island and Ash learned the hard way that Taylor Patrick was not the man he claimed to be.

"Temptation Island" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network. Catch up now on USA Network.
