Logan Paul Launches Another Legendary Challenge, Wants John Cena At WrestleMania

It seems that Paul’s podcast is the place to be for breaking WWE news lately!

Split of Logan Paul and John Cena

The last time the WWE Universe saw Logan Paul, he came up just short in his quest to become the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion at Crown Jewel – but his biggest critics can’t deny that he took Roman Reigns to the absolute limit in the process.

How to Watch

Dazzling the Saudi Arabian crowd (and millions of fans watching live on Peacock) with his athleticism and never-say-die attitude, Logan Paul showed the world that he may be the fastest rising star the wrestling industry has ever seen.

But it seems that Logan Paul isn’t content to sit back and wait for an opportunity to be a part of another huge WWE moment. Instead, he is striving to create another moment himself — a WrestleMania moment.

And at this particular moment, he’s got John Cena in his crosshairs.

During the latest episode of his “ImPaulsive” podcast, the conversation between Paul and his co-hosts turned to his WWE plans once he completes his rehabilitation from the knee injuries he suffered at Crown Jewel. In fact, Paul was asked straight-up if he intends to just wrestle legend after legend for the foreseeable future. To his credit, Paul wasted no time in telling the world exactly what he wanted: John Cena at WrestleMania!

“Truthfully, I think me versus John Cena would break the internet,” Paul said. “That’s a dream matchup, at WrestleMania, in L.A. next year, on my birthday.”

At this point, is anybody even shocked that he is setting his sights so high? He’s made a career out of going after the biggest and the best. He wanted a high-profile match at SummerSlam against The Miz, and he talked his way into it. He wanted Reigns at Crown Jewel, and he talked his way into it. Will lightning strike three times? We’re sure there are countless Superstars wanting to take on Cena at WrestleMania, so will Paul jump the line once more?

Interestingly enough, it was John Cena himself — not Logan Paul — who started all of this. After Crown Jewel, Cena posted a photo of Paul on his Instagram, which Paul saw, liked, and then immediately texted Triple H to get the proverbial balling rolling. (Honestly, you just have to respect the hustle.)

So where does that leave the WWE Universe in all of this?

It seems John Cena is at least considering a big-time match with the man who nearly dethroned Roman Reigns a few weeks ago — and now the world knows that Logan Paul absolutely wants to make it happen. At this point, it seems the ball is firmly in Triple H’s court. After all, Triple H was the person who saw the tension between Reigns and Paul come to a boiling crescendo and made their Crown Jewel main event official in just a few days.

Not one to shy away from being direct and to the point, Logan Paul made an effort to address WWE’s Head of Creative with a very simple message later in the show:

“Triple H, throw me a bone, give me a birthday present and let me take out John Cena!”

Strong words from a still-rising star. Is a WrestleMania match between Paul and John Cena “best for business,” to borrow a phrase from Triple H himself? Only time will tell.
