Corey Reynolds and Sara Tomko Unpack Last Week's Episode
Last week on Resident Alien, Asta (Sara Tomko) got proposed to by Grey alien-human hybrid Joseph (Enver Gjokaj) while Sheriff Mike ( Corey Reynolds) faced definitive proof that aliens — like the killer Mantid (voiced by Clancy Brown) — not only exist but have also very much visited Patience.

"I think Asta is excited at the prospect of just having a relationship again that makes her feel good," Tomko told USA Insider. "I think being with a hybrid alien is intriguing and quite exciting in the bedroom. She has been without love for a while, so it's exciting for her. And I do think because of his human aspect, she feels like she can bond a little bit easier with him. Whereas when Harry is full alien, she loves him, but just as a friend. I think it's because they're so different and yet so similar, that it's more of a real kinship in family, you know. But with Joseph, it feels a little bit more flirty."
"I think Mike is set in what he believes, and it takes a lot of evidence to change someone who's so set in their ways," Reynolds said of Sheriff Mike's long-awaited acceptance of extra-terrestrials. "However, I think from a practical perspective, Mike is too smart to be able to continuously ignore all of these anomalies.
Season 4 of Resident Alien drops new episodes on Fridays on USA Network and SYFY. All episodes will be available to stream exclusively on Peacock one week after they air.
