With Royal Rumble 2024 just around the corner, many Superstars have positioned themselves as favorites to win their respective Rumble match, ensuring a main event match at WrestleMania. In our eyes, there's nobody more deserving than "The American Nightmare" Cody Rhodes, who is looking to become a back-to-back men's Royal Rumble match winner on January 27.

Although Cody shockingly came up short against Roman Reigns at last year's WrestleMania, our money is on The American Nightmare once again winning the Royal Rumble and "finishing the story" by defeating Reigns in a rematch in Philadelphia – although Superstars like CM Punk, Randy Orton, Gunther, and even The Rock seemingly make that dream even more challenging to fathom with each passing day.

Every member of the WWE Universe knows Cody Rhodes' goal is to win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship – and he's got a near-insurmountable road ahead. Despite the immense pressure he's surely facing, Cody still has taken the time to make a young fan's WrestleMania dream come true, just like he's done before.

Cody Rhodes Makes a Young Fan's Dream Come True

It all started with a social media plea by a young KIPP AMP Middle School student in Brooklyn, New York. Late last year, the young man known affectionately as "Blue Dragon" asked for help getting him to WrestleMania 40 in Philadelphia – whether through donations or purchasing homemade popcorn.

On January 3, Cody Rhodes took notice of this young WWE fan and decided to make his dream a reality.

You're going to WrestleMania is a phrase every young fan wishes they could hear, and for Blue Dragon, it's going to happen! And from how Cody responded with "tickets" in the plural sense, it sounds like Blue Dragon will be taking some friends with him to Philadelphia, too. We don't know if you've noticed, but Cody tends to go above and beyond for his biggest fans.

Later in the day, Cody responded to a reaction video that showed the kids learning they'll be there live at the biggest event of the WWE Calendar.

If KIPP AMP rings a bell, it's because they've been in the WWE news cycle before – the school famously boasts "The Wrestling Club," a club for students who love all things professional wrestling. How cool is that? Why wasn't this kind of thing around when we were in middle school?

Eagle-eyed viewers also noticed Cody's support for The Wrestling Club while watching his Peacock documentary, American Nightmare: Becoming Cody Rhodes – Cody donned a TWC hoodie at various points in the film!

WWE and TWC have crossed paths before, as WWE Superstars memorably visited the students at KIPP AMP Middle School earlier in 2023:

It always warms our hearts to report on such young members of the WWE Universe – their enthusiasm and passion for all things WWE is a sight to behold.

Of course, thanks to his philanthropic efforts, Cody Rhodes has inadvertently gained some karma points as he prepares for the Royal Rumble – and as the event draws closer, the American Nightmare is quickly realizing he will need all the luck he can get!

You can tune in to Peacock to watch WWE's Royal Rumble on January 27. In the meantime, catch up on all things WWE Universe on Peacock.
