All The Celebrities Who Dressed As Chucky For Halloween

Kourtney Kardashian, Elle Fanning, and more got in the spirit of Halloween by dressing up as the horror icon in 2022.

By Tyler McCarthy

Part of the deal of being a horror icon is, when Halloween comes around, people want to dress up like you. That’s the case for Chucky, who saw a myriad of high-profile people don his signature red hair and non-threatening overalls in 2022 to celebrate the holiday with a scream.

How to Watch

Watch Chucky on the USA app and Peacock.

There’s not a lot to Chucky’s look, but with a few simple pieces of clothing and props, it’s really easy to look like everyone's friend 'til the end or even his longtime, on-again-off-again girlfriend, Tiffany Valentine, for those who enjoy a good couple's costume.

To help inspire people for next year, here’s a look at some of the most famous people who dressed up as Chucky in 2022.

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker

The reality TV star, who recently married musician Travis Barker, again became a bride on Halloween, donning a perfect “Bride of Chucky” costume. Kourtney took to her Instagram on Monday where she shared a series of photos of her looking like Tiffany Valentine in doll form while Barker sported a classic scarred-face Chucky look.

“You got your wish. You're mine now doll. And if you know what's good for you, you are going to love, honor, and obey!” she captioned the post

According to "Vogue," the costume was the epitome of glam because neither Kourtney nor Tiffany would settle for anything less. The reality star had a gown custom-made by bridal label Amsale and completed the look with a black leather jacket from By The Namesake, a custom choker by Costolo and black Rick Owens boots.

Barker also shared a few photos of their costume as well while they posed like dolls in front of their fireplace.

Elle Fanning and Max Minghella

Actress Elle Fanning also found a great costume in Tiffany Valentine and had her longtime boyfriend, actor Max Minghella, dress up to go along with it by wearing bloody overalls and a scarred plastic Chucky mask.

Elle even recreated Tiffany’s chest tattoo and they both made sure to look menacing with fake knives. Tiffany’s had blood on it, but Chucky’s was clean, indicating it must have been early in the night for the two killers.

Hayley Williams

The lead singer of Paramore, Hayley Williams, surprised the crowd at a performance in Los Angeles over the weekend when she came out dressed in Chucky’s overalls. The red-headed singer let her do get short and scraggly like the doll’s and did the whole show with scar makeup on her face to capture the killer’s iconic look from “Bride of Chucky” and “Seed of Chucky” (also a little bit of “Curse of Chucky”).

ALT 98.7 captured a little video of the singer rocking out in the getup with her drummer, behind her dressed in a yellow cheese costume, making them one of the more terrific puns of the season.

Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope

In another couple's costume, “Love Island” Season 8 stars Indiyah Polack and Dami Hope also dressed up as Tiffany and Chucky, respectively. Although they didn’t go all-out like some of the other celebrities on this list, the beauty of a “Child’s Play”-themed costume is there’s not much one needs to do to make it recognizable.

Polack dressed in a white lace one-piece and covered her legs in black fishnets with massive platform boots. She completed the Tiffany look with a blonde wig and a black leather jacket. Meanwhile, Hope wore Chucky’s “Good Guy” doll overalls and patterned sweater and even dyed his hair orange for the occasion. He even bloodied up his face a little bit so that no one thought he was too clean for a killer.

Summer Botwe

Polack and Hope weren’t the only “Love Island” Season 8 stars to dress up as the horror icon in 2022. Summer Botwe also spent Halloween sporting a look that screamed “hot(er) Chucky.”

She wore a small striped sweater similar to the Good Guy doll one and covered it with cutoff denim overalls. To complete the look, Summer dyed her hair red and carried a large kitchen knife that she assured her followers in her post’s caption was fake for safety’s sake.

HONORABLE MENTIONS:

It may feel like a cheat for anyone in the cast of the show to get points for dressing up in a “Chucky” costume for Halloween. However, when they look this good, it’s hard not to give some kudos.

Over the weekend, Jennifer Tilly, who plays both herself and Tiffany Valentine on the show, shared a photo of herself in Good Guy doll overall shorts with Chucky’s signature sweater. She worked her hair into pigtails rather than dying it red, but the look was unmistakable.

However, since she’s still fashion icon Jennifer Tilly, she ditched Chucky’s little red sneakers and opted instead for some glamorous heels.

Meanwhile, “Chucky” actress Carina Battrick got a special shout-out from Tilly on social media for her spot-on Tiffany Valentine doll costume.

“This is beyond amazing, Carina!” Tilly commented. “You are the cutest Tiffany ever!”

“Chucky” airs new episodes every Wednesday at 9/8c on USA Network and SYFY. You can catch up on past episodes on Peacock right now.
