Reservation Dogs' Paulina Alexis & Battlestar Galactica's Tricia Helfer Join Anna Pigeon Series (DETAILS)
An adaptation of Nevada Barr's bestselling crime novels, the show will premiere sometime in 2026.

USA Network's upcoming Anna Pigeon television show picked up even more steam today with the additions of Paulina Alexis (Reservation Dogs; Ghostbusters: Afterlife) and Tricia Helfer (Battlestar Galactica; Lucifer) to the ever-growing cast, Variety has confirmed.
Alexis will play Zoey Bear Child, a young park ranger who looks up to the title character, while Helfer tackles the role of Anna's older sister, Molly Pigeon, who works as a psychiatrist in New York.

The pair join the likes of Tracy Spiridakos (Anna Pigeon), Ronnie Rowe Jr. (FBI Agent Frederick Stanton), Manuel Rodriguez-Saenz (Manny López), Cooper Levy (Jesse Garland), and Ryan Northcott (Geoff Miller).
"I can’t wait to show you this badass, legend of a character," an enthusiastic Spiridakos wrote on Instagram last month just before production got underway on July 30.
In terms of story, Anna Pigeon centers around a woman who becomes a park ranger in an effort to escape her traumatic past. But far from giving her a quiet life, Anna's newly chosen occupation sees her traveling across the country and solving crimes at different national parks. A co-production between Cineflix Studios and December Films, the project will serve as an adaptation of the long-running series of crime novels by award-winning author Nevada Barr. The most recent entry, Boar Island, was published in 2016.
"Anna was conceived as my alter ego when I was working as a law enforcement ranger in Guadalupe Mountains National Park in Texas," Barr explained in an interview with BookBrowse. "Track of the Cat, the first book, was not written as the first in a series, but as an expression of who I was then set amid murder and mayhem. Since then, Anna has evolved into her own person."
Back to the Future star Lea Thompson is confirmed as director for the show. Todd Berger, Julie Di Cresce, Brett Burlock, Peter Emerson, Sonia Hosko, and Gordon Gilbertson are all executive producers alongside showrunner Morwyn Brebner.
When does Anna Pigeon premiere?
Anna Pigeon will make its debut on USA Network sometime next year. A specific premiere date has yet to be announced.
The official synopsis is as follows:
“Anna Pigeon is a former city slicker who became a park ranger after a devastating loss changed the trajectory of her life forever,” an official synopsis explains. “While Anna tries to outrun her demons, her focus turns to solving crimes that have taken place within national park grounds, no matter who or what gets in her way.”
