On Oct. 1, the Indiana Fever and the Las Vegas Aces will hit the court yet again for game three of the 2026 WNBA playoffs.
The winner-take-all game follows the Aces winning game one and the Fever tying up their standings with a game two win.
The stakes surrounding their second game proved to be stomach churning for the fans and players alike.
“To be honest, I threw up everything in my stomach at halftime,” Caitlyn Clark told Prime Video after the Sept. 29 game. “I was just out there so tired. It wasn’t because I didn’t feel good or anything. I just was that gassed.”
Clark later joked, “Let’s throw up again at halftime of the next game."
Meanwhile, Aces star player A’ja Wilson—despite countless accolades and inspiring legions of new fans—is staying humble amid another memorable season.
“I’ve worked so hard to get to these situations and put myself in these spaces that I’m like, ‘OK, yeah, I’ve earned it, of course,’” she said, according to the Associated Press. “But when it comes to people and where they want me and they’re saying are you the next GOAT? I have no idea because in my mind I have a lot more winning to do.”
