What are WNBA players earning now?

After 17 months of negotiations, the Women's National Basketball Players Association and WNBA recently came to a tentative agreement for their new contract, including a major salary increase for some players.

While the exact details of the agreements will be announced at a later date, negotiations reportedly included the WBNA getting a $6.2 to $7 million salary cap—the team's total spending limit—according to The Athletic, citing a source with knowledge of the sessions, and ESPN, citing separate sources. And the association also reportedly received between a $1.3 and $1.4 million supermax salary, which is what the top individual player earns.
