Sidwell fired Mike after a big-money deal with the shady billionaire Charlie Forstman forced Mike to cut out his boss.
Professor Gerard is an ethics professor at Harvard Law School who has a strained relationship with Harvey because the two don’t see eye-to-eye on how best to practice law. In Mike’s elaborate lie, he claims he took Professor Gerard’s ethics class, receiving top grades in it – but Professor Gerard doesn’t give anyone top grades.
Claire Bowden knew Mike Ross back when he was a bike messenger. Mike helped her file a form at her legal internship, and when the two later went on a date, Mike lied that he was a lawyer in order to impress her. Claire’s boss threw Mike’s work away and ran a background check on him -- and then shared the results with Claire.
