We don't want to deal with a Snake's mind games, but we definitely want to see some of the natural beauty featured in "Snake In The Grass."

While many viewers will walk away from "Snake In The Grass" raving about the intense challenges and wondering how they missed the signs somebody was a snake, others will walk away from it considering just one question: Where exactly was this show filmed?

How to Watch

Stream all eight episodes of "Snake in the Grass" on Peacock.

"Snake In The Grass," which premieres Monday, Aug. 1 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network, following “WWE Monday Night RAW," is both a social experiment and a reality TV competition. Four people are tasked with completing grueling physical tasks and conquering complicated mental riddles in order to earn clues. Why do they want these clues? Well, because one of the four is actually a snake, aka a saboteur who is trying to hold the team back. They have 36 hours to complete their challenges and ponder any clues — as well as their interactions with each other — to determine who exactly is the snake. Guess right and the three non-snakes walk away with $100,000. But if they're wrong and the snake successfully tricked them? The snake is the one who gets all of the money.

Clearly, it's a show with high stakes and plenty of trickery. It's a lot of fun to watch the teammates alternately work together and turn on each other, but something else that keeps our eyes glued to the screen is the astonishing scenery. Each episode's group is living in the jungle, which means plenty of scary cliffs, massive waterfalls, unique wild animals, thick thatches of greenery, and gorgeous vistas. We're not so sure we want to zip line across a vast canyon or deal with a snake's mind games, but we certainly wouldn't mind vacationing amongst such natural beauty.

So, where was "Snake In The Grass" filmed? It all took place in the jungles of Costa Rica — specifically by Liberia, Costa Rica in the Guanacaste province — easily one of the most beautiful places in the world, as the show demonstrates.

"Getting to host 'Snake in the Grass' has been a really cool experience," radio personality Bobby Bones, who hosts the show, told Entertainment Weekly. "I lived in Costa Rica for more than a month while we were shooting it, so I can't wait for everyone to finally get to see what we've been up to. The show is a mix of adventure and mystery — it's going to keep you guessing!"

Tune in on Monday, Aug. 1 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on USA Network for the "Snake In The Grass" premiere.
