Alan Tudyk, Resident Alien Crew Tease Season 4 in First Look Ahead of USA Premiere (WATCH)

Resident Alien Season 4 premieres on USA Network and SYFY Friday, June 6.

By Josh Weiss

Need a primer on where we find the characters of Resident Alien ahead of Season 4? USA Network and SYFY have you covered with an entire behind-the-scenes video of the cast and crew teeing up the forthcoming episodes.

How to Watch

Watch new episodes of Resident Alien Fridays at 11/10c on USA Network.

"It's very, very exciting," series director and executive producer Robert Duncan McNeill says in the video below. "We finished big in Season 3, so we had to come back and answer a lot of questions."

"The biggest one was probably Harry [Alan Tudyk] stuck on the Grey moon base in a prison with a preying mantis alien called a Mantid acting and looking like Harry on Earth," adds creator, showrunner, and executive producer Chris Sheridan (a veteran of Family Guy, he adapted the Dark Horse comic book of the same name).

Tudyk, who also plays the Mantid in disguise, describes the head-eating insect from outer space as "creepy, gross, and weird." Yep, that pretty much sums it up. No one suspects a thing, save for young Max Hawthorne (Judah Prehn), whose rare genetic makeup allows him to see extra-terrestrial visitors for what they really are. So in this case, he's the only one who can see that "Harry" isn't actually Harry.

"Everybody's trying new things this season," Prehn teases. "We're making discoveries and we're all doing it together."

And that's just a small sliver of what fans can expect in Season 4. Head below to see what else is in store for the rest of the characters: Asta Twelvetrees (Sara Tomko), D'Arcy Bloom (Alice Wetterlund), Sheriff Mike Thompson (Corey Reynolds), Deputy Liv Baker (Elizabeth Bowen), Sahar (Gracelyn Awad Rinke), Dan Twelvetrees (Gary Farmer), Mayor Ben Hawthorne (Levi Fiehler), and Kate Hawthorne (Meredith Garretson).

In addition, we know that Stephen Root and Jewel Staite will enjoy guest roles this season.
