Reba McEntire and Gwen Stefani are fierce competitors on Season 24 of The Voice. But what if instead of coaching talented singers who duke it out while they sit in their fancy chairs, McEntire and Stefani were getting kinda drunk playing games in Blake Shelton’s bar? Nikki Garcia, host of USA Network’s game show Barmageddon, would certainly like to see that happen.

How to Watch

Speaking to People Magazine, Garcia, a wrestling Hall of Famer who returned to host the currently airing second season of the game show, explained that she would love to see the two music superstars compete in Barmageddon. In each episode of the series, two celebrities face off in a series of outlandish versions of classic pub games.

"I'm all about girl power, so it would definitely be Gwen vs. Reba,” Garcia told People. “I mean, we've already seen Gwen on there twice. She kicks a lot of butts. She's super competitive. So I think it would be fun to have Gwen come back on and go against Reba.”

Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani sit at the bar of Ole Red together

As Garcia notes, this would not be the first (or even second) time Stefani has appeared on Barmageddon. The show actually has a lot of overlap with The Voice, as each episode takes place in Shelton’s Nashville Bar, Ole Red. Shelton, who just so happens to be Stefani’s husband, was also a Coach on The Voice no less than 23 times, starting with the singing competition show’s very first season.

McEntire, a country legend, joined Season 24 of The Voice as a Coach, essentially replacing Shelton. It would be fitting, then, if she followed Shelton over to his bar and his new TV show to compete against his wife in this new, slightly more inebriated setting.

"One of my favorite games is Buzzed Words,” Garcia said, referencing Barmageddon’s karaoke game where players pour a shot when the celebrity guest says a certain buzzword. “Can you imagine Gwen vs. Reba McEntire? Two icons. I think we'd have a lot of fun."

New episodes of Barmageddon air on USA Network on Mondays at 11 p.m. ET/PT. You can also catch episodes of Barmageddon on Peacock.
