WWE Superstars Are Pumped For The NFL Season, And They're Not Shy About Making Super Bowl Predictions

WWE Superstars are NFL fans just like the rest of us. See who's picking the Kansas City Chiefs and who has the Philadelphia Eagles to win it all.

Wwe Superbowl Predictions

The Superstars of WWE have busy schedules – from traveling from city to city each week and the constant training to ensure they can perform at the highest level, they don’t have a lot of free time.

How to Watch

Watch Monday Night RAW every Monday evening at 8/7c on USA Network. Stream more exciting WWE series on Peacock.

But with the NFL season starting with a bang with Thursday’s opening game between the Buffalo Bills and LA Rams, it was only fitting that the official WWE Twitter account tracked down some of their own to get their thoughts on the new season. More specifically, they were asked who they think are going to win the Super Bowl this year!

It’s awesome to know that even though they seem larger-than-life on television, they’re fans of the NFL, and they root for their favorite teams – just like you.

Here are some notable Super Bowl picks from a few of the Superstars featured in the video:

Happy Corbin – Kansas City Chiefs

We have to give props to the cameraman who had the guts to interrupt Corbin’s haircut and ask for his thoughts on who will win the Super Bowl – but he pulled it off! (And we assumed he made it out of there unscathed by an obviously annoyed Happy Corbin.)

Corbin quickly gave his pick of the Chiefs to win the whole thing this year, but sadly the video cut before the camera man could ask a followup question – like why in the world did Corbin get into that mysterious limo last week on SmackDown? And where does he buy all of those awful shirts?

We wonder what Patrick Mahomes II, Travis Kelce, and the rest of the Chiefs would think if they found out that one of their biggest fans was one of the biggest weasels in WWE history.

Jey Uso – San Francisco 49ers

Uso Brothers

Jey proudly proclaimed his dedication to the 49ers, predicting them to win it all this year. “Red and gold ‘til I’m dead and cold,” he said with his typical Uso swagger.

Sadly, the video doesn’t show the rest of his Bloodline family members chiming in with their opinions – but it’s safe to say that they are all rooting for the 49ers to win the Super Bowl this year, because that’s the type of tight-knit unit they are. With Roman Reigns' stranglehold over the WWE Universal Title recently crossing the unbelievable two-year mark, nobody on SmackDown can seem to get the championship away from him – thanks in no small part to the cohesion of the Bloodline.

Ricochet & Madcap Moss – Philadelphia Eagles

Who would’ve thought that the Eagles had such exciting WWE Superstars as fans? Both Ricochet and Madcap chimed in with their prediction that Philadelphia would pick up their second-ever Super Bowl victory this year. And with Philly having an absolutely stacked roster on both sides of the ball – we’re not going to lie, we agree with them.

Originally from Philadelphia, it’s no surprise that Madcap Moss would pledge his allegiance to the Eagles, as he punctuated his Super Bowl pick with a LOUD “Fly, Eagles, Fly!” chant that definitely might’ve punctured the eardrums of some members of the WWE Universe.

And let’s be honest. This season, the Eagles may be the most fun team to watch in the entire NFL. It makes sense that somebody like Ricochet would be rooting for the birds to win it all – because both the WWE Superstar and NFL team have high-flying offenses that consistently wow the crowd. It makes sense!

Ricochet picked up a hard-fought victory over Trick Williams this past Tuesday on NXT – keeping him oh-so-close to the North American Title currently held by champion Carmelo Hayes. Let’s see if his enthusiasm towards the Eagles this year translates to him focusing on capturing NXT gold in the upcoming weeks!

Shayna Baszler – Minnesota Vikings

The ex-NXT Women’s Champion kept it short and sweet for the camera, calling for the Vikings to win the Super Bowl this year, simply because she loves them more than most humans love anything.

Strong words from one of the most menacing Superstars in all of WWE!

Angelo Dawkins – Cincinnati Bengals

As one half of The Street Profits, arguably the most exciting tag team competing on Monday nights, Angelo Dawkins couldn’t help but express his support for his team with a “WHO DEY” chant that would fit right in with the rest of the crowd at Bengals home games.

Of course, the reveal at the end of Angelo’s part of the video broke our hearts a little bit – the camera panned over to Montez Ford who was laughing at his partner’s Super Bowl pick of the Bengals.

Dawkins managed to give Ford a little burn: “Bears fan laughing. They don’t even know what the Super Bowl is.”

Ouch. Shots fired.

Sure, the Chicago Bears may not be in Super Bowl contention this year, but come on Dawkins – you didn’t have to do your partner dirty like that!

While the first Sunday afternoon of the NFL season is sure to get the attention of the sports world, we here at USA Insider – and the rest of the WWE Superstars – are looking forward to the main event of the weekend: Sunday Night Football featuring the Dallas Cowboys traveling to Tampa Bay to take on the Buccaneers!

Sunday Night Football on NBC. Monday Night Raw on USA Network. NXT 2.0 on USA Network Tuesday as well. That’s not a bad three nights of television in a row, if you ask us.

You can catch WWE Raw Mondays at 8/7c on USA Network, and WWE NXT on Tuesdays at 8/7c. And watch more WWE content on Peacock now.
