Fans who've tuned into “Temptation Island” Season 4 likely noticed Ash Lamiroult is a fan of tattoos and has several on their body. However, one in particular caught some viewers’ eyes.

If you look closely at Ash's forehead in the right light, you can make out a small crescent moon resting in between their eyebrows. Because it looks different from any of the other visible tattoos on Ash’s body, many fans wondered whether it was a scar or a tattoo. One was even curious enough to take to Instagram to ask about it.

Fortunately, Ash is all too happy to answer questions about their body art. They revealed that everyone is right about the crescent moon mark.

“So it is actually both a scar and a tattoo,” Ash wrote in response to one curious fan’s comment. “The scar partially formed a crescent. I didn't like have a new scar so I worked with it and made it a full crescent with white ink.”

In a separate comment, they said, “[I]t's a scar cover up in white ink so it's supposed to kinda act the same as a scar.”

Ash did not elaborate on how they got the scar, but hey, we all get our bumps and bruises throughout life.

The writer, burlesque dancer, performer, and costume designer has a lot of creative tattoos, including the words, “I hold it in the space between my heartbeats” on their left collar bone

However, one of Ash’s most noticeable tattoos is the image of the animated character Daria on their upper right arm. Responding to one fan of the tattoo, Ash called Daria their “little guardian.”

In fact, Ash is an obvious fan of "Daria," a spin-off of the “Beavis and Butt-Head” cartoon from the 1990s about a misanthropic teenager observing the characters in their suburban life. In 2016, Ash and their friend dressed up as characters from the show for Halloween. Although Ash's friend took on the title character, Ash was a picture-perfect live-action rendition of Daria's best friend and fellow misanthrope, Jane Lane

Ash also has an image of the character Death from the Neil Gaiman graphic novel “Sandman” tattooed on their other arm. Meanwhile, Ash’s floral leg tattoo was on full display while they were getting close with Taylor Patrick earlier this season poolside with a bottle of whipped cream

"Temptation Island" airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET on USA Network. Catch up now on USA Network.
