Resident Alien's Cast Takes Us Behind the Scenes One Last Time: "Significant & Spiritual" (WATCH)
"See you sometime..."

This story contains spoilers for the series finale of Resident Alien!
After four incredible seasons, Resident Alien has officially come to an end with Harry Vanderspeigle (Alan Tudyk) leaving Earth for good with his son Bridget. While our favorite awkward alien is no longer a resident of Patience, his impact on the people who live there will last forever. And if you think it's hard to say goodbye as a fan, just imagine what it was like for the cast!
Sara Tomko (Asta Twelvetrees) appeared incredibly emotional in the behind-the-scenes video above, talking about how much the actors bonded throughout the making of the show: "It just feels really, really significant and spiritual and meaningful that we're taking this a full-circle route from where we started to where we're ending today."
"It was fun... while it lasted," Tudyk added with a poignant cackle. What else is there to say, really?
You can explore just how full circle the series conclusion really is with our breakdown of all the Easter eggs and callbacks you may have missed.
The Resident Alien cast's chemistry on-screen and off
Appearing in the video above, creator, showrunner, and executive producer Chris Sheridan explained that he "spent a lot of time thinking about what the viewers take away from the season. And I think, ideally, at the end of the season, people feel better about their lives and more hopeful that not only can they find happiness, but they can be part of this change that's happening in the world now."
He continued: "The main reason Resident Alien is so special to me, is just the chemistry between all the actors on-camera and all the actors off-camera. They support each other, they hang out on the weekends."
"This show's been unbelievably magical with the chemistry of this cast," Tomko echoed. "I did not know Alice [Wetterlund, who plays D'arcy Bloom] before this show and I will not live my life now without her."
