This story contains spoilers for Resident Alien Season 4, Episode 3, "Ties That Bind."

Linda Hamilton has a favorite line of sci-fi dialogue, and it's not "Come with me if you want to live."

How to Watch

Watch new episodes of Resident Alien Fridays at 11/10c on USA Network.

Recently chatting with USA Insider about her role in the fourth season of Resident Alien, the Terminator alum revealed her top line from the hit series (new episodes of which air on USA Network and SYFY every Friday at 11 p.m. ET).

The moment is not some impressive monologue that took hours to rehearse or a witty comeback, but a brief mention of a gastrointestinal emergency in Season 4, Episode 3, "Ties That Bind."

You may recall how the episode sees Harry (Alan Tudyk) and D'arcy (Alice Wetterlund) going back in time to retrieve a piece of Grey technology the former hopes to swap in exchange for his alien abilities. There's just a small problem. The item has already been claimed by Hamilton's General Eleanor McCallister, who is posing as a waitress at a local restaurant in 1970s Maine in the hopes of preventing her father's untimely suicide.

The duo tracks her down and, hoping to speak with the military leader in private, Harry not-so-subtly reminds D'arcy that she has a serious case of diarrhea. (She doesn't, but it's a perfectly on-brand Harry-ism.)

Linda Hamilton's favorite line of dialogue from Resident Alien

General Eleanor Wright ( Linda Hamilton) during Resident Alien Season 4 Episode 3.

"It's just this stupid moment, but [Alan] did it so well. It’s stupid, but I love stupid where he's trying to get D’arcy to go away so we can carry on our little conversation kerfuffle," Hamilton said. "How many times did we do the scene? Every time he said that, it was different and perfect and funny. But it was basically, 'Don't you have to diarrhea?’ I love it. ‘Don't you have to diarrhea?’ That line will go with me to the grave. It's just the way that he delivered it, and I thought, ‘I can't believe that this is one of the shining moments of my career,’ is him and the way that he's delivering this line brilliantly every time. That’s become my favorite go-to line."
