Austin Dillon’s Life In The Fast Lane” promises an inside look at the life of one of NASCAR’s most involved families both on and off the track. That’s why it was so special to Dillon himself that the show premiered during the critical Daytona 500 race.

How to Watch

Stream all of "Austin Dillon's Life in the Fast Lane" Season 1 on Peacock.

The first two episodes of the new USA Network reality series see Dillon, his wife Whitney, and best friends Mariel and Paul Swan preparing for the big race as well as what their life looks like when they travel together for such a big, potentially career-defining race.

Speaking to USA Insider, Dillon noted that he’s excited for the world to see just what it looks like for a real racer and their family to compete at Daytona.

“I think it's really cool,” he said. “You know, Daytona, I have so much history there with my family and probably the craziest wreck I've had in my career there. And then being able to win there. And then now you add to it the start of our show.”

He added: “It's the biggest race of the year for us. It's our Super Bowl; it starts [the season] off. So I think it's appropriate.”

Although Dillon has raced at Daytona many times, and even won, this was the first time he had a camera crew surrounding him and his family filming everything that went down. When asked if that added additional pressure to the race, he noted that pressure is par for the course when it comes to his lifestyle.

“I think when we took on the show that I knew that … You know, to me, pressure began when I was, started racing,” Dillon said. “I've gotten so comfortable in my skin and my abilities to drive a race car that it's more about, you know, going out there and performing for RCR and our employees and all the families that put all the time, and work, and effort into this. So, for me, the [cameras] didn't change any of my mindset.”

Austin, Whitney, Paul, and Mariel will have the opportunity to show cameras a lot more races as “Life In The Fast Lane” continues with its first season.

New episodes of "Austin Dillon's Life In the Fast Lane" air Thursdays at 9:30/8:30c on USA Network.
