The Resident Alien series finale is approaching.
As the beloved series comes to a close, Resident Alien has a few final questions to get out of the way. Last week, ahead of a panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2025, USA Network and SYFY confirmed that Season 4 will be the hit series' final season.

Resident Alien Season 4, Episode 9, "Tunnel Vision," premieres on USA Network and SYFY tonight at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
It's the second-to-last episode of the series, which will conclude with the Season 4 finale, "The End is Here," on August 8, 2025.
Resident Alien creator Chris Sheridan teases a worthy ending
At the Resident Alien panel at SDCC '25 last weekend, creator/showrunner Chris Sheridan and cast members Alan Tudyk (Harry Vanderspeigle), Sara Tomko (Asta Twelvetrees), Corey Reynolds (Sheriff Mike Thompson), and Alice Wetterlund (D'arcy Bloom) gathered to bid goodbye to the beloved series and reassure fans that the Season 4 finale wouldn't leave them hanging.
"I knew the smart thing was to plan on it being over after this season and to finish the story, so that when we walk away, [we can be] proud of what we've done, the story is told, and the fans can feel satisfied," Sheridan, who also serves as executive producer, told a packed room at the SDCC panel.
"In the writers' room, we crafted a season that wraps up storylines and gives the audience a very satisfying conclusion to the four seasons that they've been watching. And I couldn't be more proud of it," he continued. "It's really hard to come up with a season finale and incredibly hard to come up with a satisfying series finale. I'm so proud of where we end up this season ... I can't wait for people to see it. I think people are gonna love it."

The cast was in good spirits, joking amongst themselves and enjoying the love from the crowd.
"I don't believe that we were working for seven years [with four seasons] on-air from luck," added Tomko of the series' popularity over the years. "I think there's an incredible chemistry as a cast and crew, but mostly, it is because you watched us and you loved us."
Only two more episodes of Resident Alien remain. Episodes 9 ("Tunnel Vision") and 10 ("The End is Here" — aka the series finale) will debut on USA Network and SYFY on August 1 and 8 at 10:00 p.m., respectively. New installments are available to stream on Peacock a week after they air.
