There’s only one episode of Hot Wheels™: Ultimate Challenge left, meaning there’s only one episode left before we learn which contestant has built the best Hot Wheels-inspired car, one which will be immortalized with its very own official Hot Wheels diecast toy. But, don’t forget that after cars are built, they’re meant to be driven. And, sometimes, to be raced. That’s why it’s fitting that Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge is having a pop-up event at Nashville’s Big Machine Music City Grand Prix this weekend.

If you’re an IndyCar or Hot Wheels fan who is in Nashville, swing by Lot R3 near the Fan Zone from Friday, Aug. 4 to Sunday, Aug. 6, for a chance to design your own Hot Wheels and get a sticker of your design. There will be other treats given away as well.

Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challange, the NBC reality-competition series where superfans compete to see who can turn a regular-old car into a life-size Hot Wheels, should give attendees plenty of inspiration. Some of the winning builds on the show include an all-gold tribute to Mardi Gras or a Volkswagen Bug that’s been transformed into a spiky "Monster Bug."

If you’re not able to make it to the Big Machine Music City Grand Prix — an IndyCar street race that’s being held for a third time following the initial 2021 race — NBC and Peacock have you covered. The race will be on NBC and streaming on Peacock on Sunday, Aug. 6, starting at 12 p.m. ET.

The 2.17-mile-long street circuit is a thrilling (and fast!) tour of Nashville, and racers will fly by the Nissan Stadium, over the Korean War Veterans Memorial Bridge, and into downtown Nashville. Marcus Ericsson won the 2021 race while Scott McLaughlin was last year’s victor.

Catch the finale of Hot Wheels: Ultimate Challenge, where three winners from earlier in the season are competing for the grand prize, on Tuesday, August 8, at 10 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. It will be streaming the next day on Peacock, and a new episode of the official Ultimate Challenge aftershow, Best Builds, will premiere after the finale.
