'I Can't Measure Up To You': The Chrisleys Celebrate Their Many Moms On Mother's Day
Todd, Savannah, and Chase didn't let Mother's Day go by without acknowledging Julie, Faye, and Pam and the wonderful contributions they've added to their lives.
Family is everything to the Chrisleys. So, it makes sense they wouldn’t let a day as important as Mother’s Day go by without celebrating all the wonderful matriarchs who keep them going.
On Sunday, Todd, Chase, and Savannah took to social media where they shared messages of support and gratitude directed at Nanny Faye, Julie, and Julie's mother, Pam Hughes. Even Julie took a moment to give a shout-out to all the hardworking moms out there (and continued to be a hardworking mom herself by throwing in a plug for her daughter’s makeup brand, Sassy by Savannah).
Todd kicked things off by sharing a photo of himself with his beloved mother, Faye.
“Happy Mother’s Day Mama, I truly don’t have the words to express what you mean to me,” he captioned the snap. “I am so blessed to have you in my life every day, you have carried me through every storm in my life, through every heartache you said ‘give thanks to God’ every joy that I have experienced ‘Give thanks to God’ every storm in life ‘the sun will always rise again’ and when I’ve struggled with hurt, betrayal, heartache and pain you said ‘give thanks to God, he’s growing you in ways you can’t even imagine.’”
Todd went on to explain how his mother always acted as his “mirror in life,” and helps him look inward and decide if he likes who he sees. If he does, she’ll help him be grateful, if not, she’ll help him have the courage to change.
“You will always be everything good in this world to me and I am forever grateful to God for blessing me with you, to the moon and back my sweet mama, no distance will ever change that because we are inseparable,” Todd concluded.
Not to be outdone, Savannah came next, sharing a collection of photos of her and Julie when they were both much younger. She too thanked her mom for the many unseen things she’s done for her over the years.
“Today I woke up thanking God for allowing me to be your daughter mama,” she wrote. “We all joke about how close dad and I are…and how he’s my favorite…but that’s not true. I think for so long I have fought against myself because I have known that I can’t measure up to you… you are an angel from God.”
Savannah adds: “Your heart is shockingly pure. Your love is never ending. Your laugh is infectious. You are SUPERMOM! I hope that one day I can become HALF the mom that you are… thank you for being the glue that holds us all together. Thank you for loving me through it all.”
Later in the day, she added another set of photos, this time showing, Julie, Faye, and Pam posing for her Sassy By Savannah makeup line.
“Thank you to these beautiful women for paving the way and showing me what it means to not only be an amazing mama but a woman of strength!” she captioned the snap.
Savannah also added a post acknowledging mothers who many may not think to credit on Mother’s Day such as stepmoms, soon-to-be moms, should be moms, the moms we have lost, and more.
“I know today is hard on a lot of people… I LOVE YOU,” she wrote.
Finally, Chase took to his social media to share a trio of photos of himself out and about with Pam, Julie, and his partner in crime, Nanny Faye.
“Happy Mothers Day to these 3 angels! I love you all more than life! I am so thankful and blessed that God gave me y’all! Love you to the moon and back!” he wrote.
