Irreverent, opportunistic and undeniably skilled, Adam Cole arrived in NXT with one goal in mind: to take over.
Once described by WWE Hall of Famer “Stone Cold” Steve Austin as “hellacious” inside the ring and on the microphone, Cole first made waves on the independent wrestling circuit. He competed around the globe for nearly 10 years, winning championships in almost every organization he competed and building a reputation for his meticulous in-ring attack, not to mention his exclamatory (and infectious) means of introducing himself: “Adam Cole, Bay Bay!”
Cole finally took NXT by storm in August 2017. Making an unforgettable debut at TakeOver: Brooklyn III, Cole joined forces with Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish to demolish NXT Champion Drew McIntyre. The outlaw collective quickly expanded its campaign to an all-out assault on the NXT roster. Calling themselves The Undisputed ERA, the unit — which has since grown to include Roderick Strong — has pledged to shock the system of NXT. With Cole leading the charge, they’re well on their way, and that is undisputed.
