The Judgment Day has been running roughshod over the WWE roster for the past few months and thanks to our USA Insider exclusive interview with Damien Priest, we know the group has their sites set on a new member in AJ Styles. Last night on RAW, Judgment Day made their way to the ring and bragged about Finn Bálor’s victorious performance over Edge at Extreme Rules before inviting AJ Styles to join the group. Shockingly, Styles emerged and said Bálor was correct: He needs more friends in this business.

“With my back against the wall, I’ve been alone for far too long. There comes a time in a man’s life when he needs friends!” explained the Phenomenal One. The WWE Universe vocally expressed their displeasure as they thought Styles was about to join Judgment Day as the two former champions shared a hug in the middle of the ring.

Suddenly, at the last possible moment, Styles lifted the microphone to his mouth and said, “I wasn’t talking about you guys …”

Just then, a returning Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson of the OC marched down to the WWE ring for their first time in two years. Members of the WWE Universe who are familiar with the legendary tag team erupted with excitement, but for those who are unfamiliar, Gallows and Anderson are one of the most iconic, influential, and decorated tag teams in the modern era of professional wrestling.

Gallows and Anderson have wrestled for almost every single major promotion in the world and have captured tag team gold every step along the way. While in Japan, the group was part of the “Bullet Club” stable, a faction that has been home to multiple WWE stars such as Adam Cole, Finn Bálor, and AJ Styles. The OC’s connection with Bálor and Styles can not be understated as the foursome traveled together, ate together, and even lived together for years in Japan.

The recently reunited OC stared down Dominik Mysterio, Bálor, and Priest before the six men engaged in a brawl that ended with the OC cleaning house and standing tall at the end of the segment. The WWE Universe has been put on notice, as has every tag team in WWE, including The Usos. Gallows and Anderson are a serious threat that has turned the tag team division upside down with just one appearance. Both veterans are more than capable of giving Judgment Day or the current champions a run for their money, and fans are excited to see the threesome reunited instead of Styles joining Judgment Day.

In a video posted by WWE.com, the newly returned OC disclosed to backstage correspondent Cathy Kelly that they aren’t just a group, they’re a family. “When we heard AJ Styles say ‘family,' we knew it was time,” said Gallows. Anderson continued, saying, “When the king good brother needs the boys, the good brothers come for AJ Styles.”
