Omar Metwally is most well-known for his standout work as Dr. Vik Ullah on “The Affair,” where he has starred for the past three seasons, and will appear in season five set to air later this year. Metwally has also recurred for the last two seasons on USA’s MR. ROBOT as the duplicitous double-agent Santiago.
Notable film roles include the Liam Neeson action-thriller “Non-Stop,” Gavin Hood's “Rendition,” Steven Spielberg’s “Munich,” and Julian Schnabel's “Miral.”

On stage, Metwally won an Obie Award for his work in the Off-Broadway production of Rajiv Joseph's “Guards at the Taj,” which he recently reprised at the Steppenwolf Theater Company in Chicago. He was nominated for a Tony Award for his work in the play “Sixteen Wounded” on Broadway.
