If you've been collecting clues about the next installment of The Sinner, we've got a lead for you! Today, USA Network announced that Elisha Henig (Mr. Robot, Alex, Inc.) will join the cast as Julian, an 11-year-year-old boy who murders his parents with no apparent motive. A bright-but-peculiar boy on the brink of adolescence, Julian is from a sheltered, unconventional background and is now thrust into the outside world.
Bill Pullman will return to this season of The Sinner as Det. Harry Ambrose, who is lured back to his hometown in rural New York to assess Julian's unsettling and heart-wrenching crime. As Ambrose realizes there’s nothing ordinary about the boy or where he came from, the investigation pulls him into the hidden darkness of his hometown. He’s pitted against those who’ll stop at nothing to protect its secrets -- and the mysterious Vera (Carrie Coon), who proves to be a complicated, enigmatic piece to this haunting puzzle.
Henig joins the new season's previously announced cast of Coon (The Leftovers), Natalie Paul (The Deuce), and Hannah Gross (Mindhunter). Fans of Mr. Robot will recognize the young actor from his role as Trenton's little brother Mohammed in Season 3 who Elliot spends the day with -- even taking the boy to a screening of Back to the Future.
