Robert Capita
Self

Introduced to sailing at a young age, Robert Capita took an instant shine to the sea and was once on track to be part of the U.S. Olympic team. However, the 1980 U.S. boycott of the Moscow Olympics, however, ended Robert's dream, coupled with his father's desire to have him run the family business but his passion for sailing never subsided. Robert desperately wants to get back into sailing, partly to show the importance of following one's dreams. Yet he remains conflicted, as he wants a closer relationship with his son than he had with his father, but knows full well pursing his dream will mean more time away from home. Now, thanks to Kurt, Robert will have a chance to captain an America's Cup level sailboat full time.
