Sigourney Weaver

Sigourney Weaver is an Oscar-nominated actress best known for portraying Ripley in the Alien franchise. Her other well-known films include 1984's Ghostbusters and its sequels, 1988's Gorillas in the Mist and Working Girl, 1997's The Ice Storm, 1999's Galaxy Quest and 2009's Avatar. Weaver also scored critical acclaim for her performances in the 2009 TV movie Prayers for Bobby and the 2012 miniseries Political Animals. The actress has also starred in various films and TV shows, including Exodus: Gods and Kings, Chappie, A Monster Calls and The Defenders. She is next set to star in Call Jane, which will be in theaters in October of 2022, as well as Avatar: The Way of Water, which will be in theaters December 2022.
