Ahmir "Questlove" Thompson is a drummer, producer, DJ and front man for the Grammy Award-winning band The Roots, who serve as the house band on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Roots have released 14 studio albums since 1993, including the best-selling Things Fall Apart, The Tipping Point, Game Theory, Rising Down and How I Got Over. Questlove is also a New York Times best-selling author of four books. Questlove also serves as executive producer for the documentary series Hip Hop: The Songs That Shook America. Most recently, Questlove's documentary Summer of Soul won Best Documentary Feature at the 94th Academy Awards.
