Oprah Winfrey is a talk show host, actress, producer and philanthropist who has been dubbed the Queen of All Media. For 25 years, she hosted a self-titled talk show that won 47 Daytime Emmy Awards before Winfrey took it out of consideration. In 2000, Winfrey started O, The Oprah Magazine. In 2011, the same year The Oprah Winfrey Show went off the air, she launched The Oprah Winfrey Network. As an actress, Winfrey was nominated for a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 1986 for her work in The Color Purple. She recently returned to feature films with 2013's Lee Daniels' The Butler and stars in the upcoming Selma.
